Here is an easy updated schedule to follow for tomorrow’s Open House.

11-12 am - Exhibition match featuring Johnny Sinclair and Evan Bolus, two former college players. Johnny is our defending club singles champion while Evan is a former tennis teaching professional.

12-1 pm - Drill clinics for adults and older youth

12-1 pm - Games for younger children

1-2 pm - Organized Play
All activities open to both members and non-members

After a long winter we are finally here…

Join us for our Open House on May 16—check out our renovated clubhouse and grounds

Our Open House will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 11 am to 2 pm, at which time we can answer any questions you may have. We will have a Help Center for those wanting assistance navigating our new website.
11-12 am Drill clinics for adults and older youth
11-12 am Games for younger children
12-1 pm Organized Play
All activities open to both members and non-members

Rain date is Sunday, May 17.

Given the rainy forecast for tomorrow morning, we have decided to cancel the Spring Clean-Up. The courts are very soggy and the parking lot and grounds are very muddy and wet, so it's best that we avoid foot traffic.

All windscreens are already down and zip tied, so we are in pretty good shape for the Open House next Saturday.

Depending on the weather next week, we may organize a small team of volunteers to power wash the outdoor furniture and complete the remaining tasks.

Cleanup Day is on Saturday, May 9, starting at 9 AM (rain date TBD) and we are looking for volunteers.

Tasks include dropping the windscreens and zip-tying them down, setting up the nets and bringing out and cleaning benches, chairs and other equipment. Volunteers are asked to bring zip-tie clippers, 8-foot ladders, enthusiasm and energy. Let's get STC ready for the upcoming season!

There is still time to sign up for the summer junior clinics at Scranton Tennis Club. Registration is now in progress for the classes which will start the week of June 22. Classes are twice a week and each session lasts three weeks. Check out the information on our website (www.scrantontennisclub.com), figure out which session(s) you would like to attend, and send in your payment with your registration form. If you would like to save some money on your registration, consider joining the club as a family or junior member, and save up to $50 on your clinic registration for each child. We have a variety of programs you can participate in to use those skills you learn in the clinics. See the STC JUNIOR MEMBERS HAVE ALL THE BENEFITS! section for more information.
