🐊 Nope—you didn’t miss registration! 🐊

We haven’t opened registration for the upcoming Gators season just yet—but we’re getting close! 💚

We’re hoping to have our exact practice hours confirmed shortly, and as soon as we do, registration will OPEN! 🎉

We expect practices to be around the same time as last year, running Monday–Friday, with the season starting in October and continuing through March. We’ll share all the details as soon as everything is finalized.

We seriously cannot wait to get back in the pool with everyone! We miss our swimmers and are so excited for another awesome Gators season! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️🐊💚

📣 JOIN THE ABINGTON GATORS COACHING TEAM! 🐊🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

The Abington Gators are looking for TWO Assistant Coaches to join us for our upcoming season!

Our season runs October through March, with practices typically Monday–Friday from 6:00–8:00 PM and swim meets on weekends.

Assistant Coaches are typically expected to work 2–3 practices per week, along with weekend meets as scheduled.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, dependable coaches who love working with kids, enjoy being part of a team, and want to help our swimmers grow in their skills, confidence, and love of swimming.

And we may be biased…but the Gators are a pretty awesome team to be part of! 💚🐊 We have great swimmers, supportive families, an amazing coaching staff, and a fun, positive team atmosphere.

💙🐊 Making the Gators Proud This Summer! 🐊💙

This summer, we’re proud to have four Abington Gators representing our team at Penn State Swim Camp! Their commitment to improving their skills, learning from outstanding coaches, and pushing themselves to be better is exactly what being a Gator is all about.

Hard work pays off, and these swimmers have earned this opportunity through their dedication, perseverance, and love for the sport. We couldn’t be prouder of the way they’re representing our team!

Keep working hard, having fun, and making memories. We can’t wait to see all you’ve learned back in the pool. 💪🏊💙

🏊‍♂️ Dear Gator Families,

We are incredibly proud of our Gators and all they have accomplished this summer! The hard work, team spirit, and growth we’ve seen has been amazing, and we’re already looking ahead to our fall and winter season.

As many of you know, the Abington High School swim program is currently transitioning to a new head coach. Because of this, we do not yet know the exact pool times that will be available for our fall/winter program. As a result, we are not opening registration just yet.

Here’s what we anticipate:

🗓️ Practices will most likely begin in October.
🏊 Practices will be held 5 days per week, likely in the afternoon or early evening.
🏅 The meet season typically begins in December or January, with weekend meets continuing through Championships in March.

As soon as we receive confirmation of our pool rental times, we’ll share all the details and open registration right away.

Thank you for your patience and continued support of the Gators! We can’t wait for another great season. More information will be shared as soon as it’s available.

🐊 Gators Summer Swim Registration is OPEN! ☀️🏊‍♀️

Thank you for your patience—we’re excited to kick off the Summer 2026 season!

👉 Registration Details

Open now for returning Gators through Friday 4/17
We’ll open to new swimmers after that based on availability

👉 Season Timeline

Season starts: May 11
May 11 – end of school year: Afternoon/evening practices (Mon–Fri)
Starting June 15: Transition to morning practices (Mon - Thurs)
Full schedule is available on SportsYou and outlined in the attachment

📌 Note: We move to mornings because the pool is not available in the afternoons once school is out.

💲 Cost Update
There will be a $15 increase per swimmer this year due to a 200%+ increase in pool rental fees. We’ve worked hard to offset as much of this as possible and appreciate your understanding.

⏰ Schedule Update
To better support our older swimmers (ages 11–21) who balance summer jobs and responsibilities, older swimmers will practice earlier in the morning and the 11:00 AM–12:00 PM slot will be reserved for swimmers age 10 & under

We hope this change supports our older athletes while also giving our younger swimmers more opportunities to learn from them as role models 💙
