🏈 CHAMPIONSHIP FRIDAY:
Abington Heights vs. Delaware Valley 💙🤍
Good morning, Comet Community!
Tonight, history will be made on our home turf as Abington Heights hosts the PIAA District 2 Class 5A Football Championship — the first-ever Football District Championship game played on our High School Turf Stadium Field!
Your Comets will face a familiar rival, Delaware Valley, in what’s become one of the region’s premier postseason matchups. This marks the third consecutive year the two programs have met for the District title.
In 2023, Delaware Valley came out on top in Milford.
In 2024, the Comets captured the title right here in Clarks Summit.
Now, in 2025, the stage is set for an epic championship rubber match — right on our brand-new expanded stadium field!
This season has already been historic for Abington Heights Athletics with 10 District Titles earned this fall. A football victory Friday night would make it #11 — the most in a single season in program history.

🕖 Kickoff: 7:00 PM (Gates open 5:45 PM)
📍 Abington Heights HS – Turf/Track Stadium
🏈 #1 Abington Heights vs. #3 Delaware Valley
Pregame festivities begin at 6:30 PM with performances by the Marching Comets and AH Cheerleaders, followed by the National Anthem at 6:55 PM.

🎟️ TICKETS & ADMISSION
All spectators must purchase tickets online only through Hometown Ticketing.
🎫 Buy Tickets – PIAA District 2 Ticket Booth
No tickets will be sold at the gate.
Price: $7 (includes fees).
Children 5 & under and Adults 65+ (with ID) are admitted free.
District 2 Gold Passes are accepted; school-issued season passes are not valid for playoff events.
👥 SPECTATOR GUIDELINES
We take great pride in hosting one of the best game day environments in District 2. Please help us keep it safe, welcoming, and respectful for all:
No outside food, drink, or coolers permitted.
No re-entry once tickets are scanned.
To***co, alcohol, and va**ng are strictly prohibited.
Sportsmanship matters! Please cheer positively and respectfully.
Spectators are not permitted on the field at any time.
🚗 PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY
Spectator parking is available in the main front lot of the high school.
No parking behind the school, as this area is reserved for foot traffic, restrooms, and concessions.
Accessible parking is available in the front lot near the stadium entrance.
Illegally parked vehicles are subject to ticketing or towing.
🍔 CONCESSIONS & FACILITIES
Concessions will be provided by the Football Boosters near the home bleachers (cash only).
Restrooms and portable facilities are located behind the home bleachers.
