Want to help your child focus better at home this week?

Start with these three simple moves:

1. Get eye contact first.

Before you give an instruction, pause and wait until they look at you.

2. Give one task at a time.

Instead of “brush your teeth, grab your shoes, and feed the dog,” try one clear direction first. Finish that. Then move to the next.

3. Praise the effort.

“You stayed with it” usually lands better than “good job.”

From lightsaber fun to games, dinner, and movie time, our students had an awesome night while parents got a well-earned break.

Our Parent’s Night Out events are open to elementary-age kids, and they’re designed to be safe, active, social, and seriously fun.
