Charles Jones was more than a Muay Thai student; he was a genuine friend whose presence had a lasting impact on everyone around him. During the time the gym was open, he trained with humility, dedication, and respect, earning the admiration of his teammates not just for his effort, but for the kind of person he was. He truly embodied what the art of Muay Thai is meant to be—not just strength and toughness, but heart, discipline, respect, and perseverance. Through his actions, he showed that Muay Thai is as much about character as it is about combat.
When the gym eventually closed, the friendships Charles built did not fade. He remained connected to many, always remembered for his warmth, steady character, and the way he made others feel welcome and valued. He had a quiet strength about him—never seeking attention, yet always leaving an impression. Whether through shared training memories, conversations outside the gym, or simple moments of camaraderie, Charles became someone people truly cared about.
His passing leaves a deep void, and he is missed more than words can express. Though the gym doors are closed and his time with us has ended, the friendships he formed, the respect he earned, and the spirit he carried will always endure. Charles will be remembered with gratitude, affection, and honor by all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend. Rest well until we meet again.
