Altitude is a big storyline for this week's Notre Dame Football game at BYU - good thing the Irish have Loren Landow on their side! ☘️

Nas Aljamal has now won Coach of the Month twice, so the double double practically orders itself.

The winner gets lunch from anywhere they want, and Nas is from California, so In-N-Out was never in doubt.

He earned this one by doing excellent work with his new post-transplant training group, coaching organ transplant recipients as they rebuild their strength. If you or someone you know has had a transplant and wants to train with the group, DM COACH NA$ .

Every Coach of the Month since we started in May:
May: Megan Cicchetti
June: Nas Aljamal
July: Derek Walters
August: Kaycie Young
September: Nas Aljamal

Congrats Nas! Animal style, we assume. 🍔

Huge congratulations to Landow Performance coaches Kaycie Young (kaycie_young11) and Augustine Agyei (Augustine Agyei MS CSCS🇬🇭) for presenting at the 2026 NSCA Colorado State Clinic!

Kaycie presented “Training Through the Cycle: Practical Programming Considerations for Female Athletes” while Augie presented “Simple Concepts for a Complex Problem,” covering speed, change of direction mechanics, and key performance metrics.

We are beyond proud to have these two representing LP and sharing their knowledge with the strength & conditioning community! 💪 NSCA

Football season is underway! As you put your work on tape, start planning for the testing and evaluation that come next.

2027 NFL Combine & Pro Day prep starts this January at Landow Performance in Centennial, Colorado, in the Denver metro area.

Our combine and pro day training helps college football athletes prepare to showcase their speed, change of direction, and explosive power. We teach you how to ace the drills you'll be doing on your Pro Day so you feel confident going in.

Speed and agility are skills, and skills can come back!

Maybe nobody has actually coached you since high school or college. You've kept going to the gym. Machines, some cardio, maybe a class where the whole point was to get tired. Meanwhile you're still in a rec league, still chasing a kid around, still expecting your body to do things it hasn't rehearsed in years.

Our new Adult Movement & Strength class is training for lifelong athletes. Acceleration mechanics, change of direction, real strength work, led by coaches who train our pro and college athletes.

Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 PM.

Augustine Agyei MS CSCS🇬🇭 is talking about a 3-point stance here because of the shape it forces. Shin angle, hips stacked out over the front foot, everything aimed forward. It's definitely worth teaching (especially for athletic combines), but most of the athletes who walk through our doors will never put a hand in the ground for their sport.

So we teach that 3-point position, but also work to find whatever start actually lets them hold it. Usually that's a 2-point stance. And when an athlete still pops upright the second they push, sometimes momentum can help fix it. Give them a falling start or a few jog-in steps and let their body find the angle on its own.

Congratulations to Neil Magny for his win last night moving him up to second on the all-time UFC career wins list! Let's keep training and gunning for that record!! 👊💥

Fall 2026 internship applications are open!
We run this internship the same way we train athletes: you earn your progressions. You'll start by shadowing our staff on the floor, learning how we evaluate movement and why the system is sequenced the way it is. Interns who show they're ready take on real coaching responsibility as the semester goes on.

That approach works. Most of the coaches on our staff today started as LP interns.

Need the hours for course credit? We're happy to work with your school.

Apply at landowperformance.com/internships.
Priority deadline August 15th.

Loren Landow presented yesterday at the Sportsmith Power Conference in Los Angeles, and LP coaches Chris Jarmon, CSCS and Megan Cicchetti were on site to watch. Yet another phenomenal presentation by Loren!
