Race weekend is here! Trail Status for Race Weekend:
Sat, Aug. 29: No Uphill Travel on Racecourse from 9AM - 6PM
Sun, Aug. 30: No Uphill Travel on Racecourse from 9AM - 2PM
All pets must be leashed and under control at all times.

This event is free for spectators. Check in at registration desk for best viewing opportunities of race. Full schedule on the Snow Bowl website.

This week marks the final Group Mountain Bike Rides of the season at Camden Snow Bowl! Join us this Wednesday and Friday at 6pm for an evening of riding, good company, and some of our favorite trails. Whether you’ve been with us all summer or this will be your first ride, come out and make the most of the final group ride!

Thanks to everyone who has joined us on the trails this summer! And big thanks to Sidecountry Sports and Midcoast Maine NEMBA for leading the rides and Harbor Dogs for keeping us well fed and hydrated post ride!!!

This is sheave. It is the wheel that supports and guides the haul rope of the chairlift. Between the double and triple chair, there are over 300 sheaves at the Snow Bowl. To keep these babies in tip top shape each one is inspected. The metal is checked for any cracks, the rubber liner is replaced if needed, and the bearings are tested and greased. Thank you, Ops team, for keeping winter on your mind all year long.

Jibe has long been the go-to intermediate climbing route at the Camden Snow Bowl, introducing riders to the mountain before they head higher into the trail network. But years of use and erosion had taken their toll.

This summer, Midcoast Trails Stewardship (MTS) gave Jibe some much-needed rehabilitation—improving the trail while preserving the character that makes it special. The project included carefully designed reroutes, rock-armored stream crossings, trail tread stabilization and improved drainage. They worked with the mountain, not against it to create a more gradual, sustainable climb, reduce erosion, and provide fun, approachable technical features for riders building their skills.

We are thrilled with the work MTS has completed this summer. Projects like these will continue as we work to improve the summer trail network and expand 4-season recreation at the Camden Snow Bowl.
