In the face of ventricular fibrillation (V-fib), every second counts, and every action is crucial, as survival chances dwindle by 7%–10% each minute without intervention. The path to salvation lies in recognizing cardiac arrest, dialing 911, performing exemplary CPR (100–120 bpm), and utilizing an AED to deliver a lifesaving shock within the first few precious minutes. Our extraordinary team member Brit sprang into action, swiftly identifying the emergency that others initially overlooked. With unwavering resolve, Brit and Deanna carefully laid Lil on the ground, clearing away obstacles, stripping away safety gear, and embarking on the demanding task of CPR. Despite being fully equipped herself, Brit selflessly devoted herself to the arduous process, toiling for eight grueling minutes until help arrived. Those eight minutes were a testament to Brit's unyielding dedication, as she battled extreme weather conditions and expended intense energy to revive our beloved sister. Brit is our unsung hero, who efficiently passed on the responsibility to those carrying life-saving equipment. Each member of our team is a guardian angel, but Brit was the vital link in this critical response. Eight minutes that will forever be etched in our memories.

It’s not just the star performers who drive success—it’s the coaches who shape strategy and mindset, the support staff who handle the countless details, and the teammates who push one another to be better every day. These individuals bring consistency, accountability, and trust, creating an environment where excellence becomes the standard rather than the exception. They show up early, stay late, and do the unglamorous work that builds a foundation strong enough to withstand pressure.
