15 MILES THIS MORNING!! 😍

I think my longest ever was 15.3 so not quite beating my previous record 🤣 but in the grand scheme of things today was a serious win. After spending all week stressing over the heat and our air quality which took a turn for the worst this morning, Paige Colburn and I decided we were just going to give 110% of what we had and take what we could get. And boy we took it!! I hit my 15 miles at my goal pace and home girl went on to hit her 20 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
A job well done today and a nap well earned this afternoon!!

Week 2 of marathon training was a lot of nature, a lot of friends, and not enough pictures 🤣🥴🫣 I used to be SO good about taking photos and then fell off the bandwagon.
At any rate, it’s still early and the work is slow but progressive. But Paige Colburn and I had a good talk about how you never know when someone’s watching from afar, either cheering you on or being inspired by you. So by all means, take those photos and share those stories! ❤️❤️ let’s share the positive vibes!

Week 1 long run DONE! This is SO exciting! 😍

The greenbelt is my number one FAVORITE place to run, there is SO much nature and beauty in the heart of Boise and I love it every single time. I also love being able to sing Disney channel movie songs really loud first thing in the morning 🤣

Now that summer break is here I can finally breathe! Figuratively and literally 🤣 this week I have OFFICIALLY started the longest race I will have ever trained for- a full marathon!
It’s scary as heck but that is why I am giving my body PLENTY of time to adapt, progress, get strong and finish that race injury free! This was day 1 on Monday! The best part is I get to share my journey with my family ❤️
