Summers heat, hiking in and out, plenty of water and wild brown trout to 12 inches. A great morning session in a remote section of the river. With 20 miles of river to explore there are spots that have never been fished. This is the perfect water to fish a dry and dropper rig. For the dry fly use size 16 Adams parachutes, size 14 stimulators, size 16 elk hair caddis and size 14 Royal Wulff’s. For the nymph use size 16 olive quilldigons, size 18 bead head flash back pheasant tail nymphs, size 16 jigged rainbow warriors, size 16 green/gold brassies, size 16 zebra midges and size 16 tiger midges. Be prepared to deal with stinging nettles, rose bushes, rattle snakes and the heat of summer.
