We are a martial arts school specializing in Okinawan karate (ages 4 - adult), Okinawan kobudo, a traditional weapons art (ages 8 - adult), Japanese jujitsu (ages 14 - adult), and Batto-do Toyama-ryu iaido, an art consisting of drawing, cutting with, and fighting with the traditional Japanese sword (ages 13 - adult).

Mountain Stream Budo welcomed Vanessa Cook Sensei, 4th dan karate 4th dan kobudo, of Missouri, as a guest instructor over the weekend! She instructed youth and teen/adult karate classes, trained kobudo and even tried a jujitsu class and a sword class as well! Everyone had a fantastic time.
