Dance for Joy

Dance for Joy Founded in 1994, Dance for Joy focuses on classical ballet training emphasizing on the love and enjo New this year is Belly Dance for children and Adults!

Since 1994 we have been sharing the joy and love of ballet and all things dance to ages 2 through adult. Our introductory BippityBop program is taught by educated professionals and is designed to engage all children in a fun and lively introduction to the world of dance. We are a non-competitive school and focus on development not only of dance technique but also performance and the building of se

lf-esteem. Classes are offered in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, CoreWork, and Rhythm Tap. Our annual 'Nutcracker for Kids' provides additional performing experience for our Youth Ballet Company as well and our students from age 5 and up. This one hour, condensed and narrated version of the Nutcracker has become a favorite of audiences in the Yorktown area.
