Grab a paddle! Join the Batesville Mayor's Youth Council for a fun-filled day of pickleball at our Y.

🎉 Happy 5-Year Anniversary with our Y, Laura! 💃

For 5 years, Laura has been bringing her passion for dance, fitness, and fun to the Y—and many members would say her Zumba classes are the highlight of their week!

With her contagious energy and welcoming spirit, Laura creates a class where everyone feels comfortable, encouraged, and ready to move. (And if you know Laura, you know standing still is not an option! 😉)

We're also lucky that her connection to the Y goes back even further, with Laura sharing her talents here on and off since 1998.

Week 2 of Summer Camp was right on target! 🎯

During our Ultimate Sports Showdown, campers spent the week building skills, confidence, and teamwork through friendly competition and active play. One of the highlights was a special visit from the DNR, who introduced campers to the exciting sport of archery. ☀️🏹

Safety starts with preparation.

Thanks to a grant from the Ripley County Community Foundation, our YMCA was able to purchase new lifeguard rescue tubes, nasal medication training devices, and CPR manikins to strengthen lifesaving training for our staff.

This equipment helps ensure our team is prepared to respond confidently and effectively when emergencies arise, creating a safer environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

We are grateful to the Ripley County Community Foundation for investing in the safety and well-being of our YMCA members and the entire community.

Back at the Y, Better Than Ever

After returning to the Y following some time away, longtime member Dan Weber was pleasantly surprised by the new Wellness Center and especially the updated equipment. “The new equipment is incredible,” Dan shared. The variety and quality of the machines have made it easy for him to get back into his routine and enjoy every workout.

Looking for a little extra time to practice skills, burn energy, and have fun this summer? Join us for Summer Open Gym in our gymnastics room!
Participants can explore gymnastics and ninja equipment at their own pace in a safe, supervised environment. Open Gym is not instructor-led, making it a great opportunity to practice skills and stay active.
