Excited to announce that we did such an awesome job last year that USSSA is coming back to Batesville PLEX for 3 tournaments in 2023.
Our PLEX speaks for itself and excited for the community as we welcome thousand of people to Batesville beginning in April…

April 29-30 will be part of the USSSA SELECT SHOWCASE

May 20-21 Hoosier State Games

June 16-18 Ohio State Tournament

To wrap up the 2022 Dingers at the PLEX, want to say thank you to all the parents, players amd coaches for being great guest and treating the complex with respect and displaying great sportsmanship!! To our umpires, y’all may not of been perfect but you did awesome controlling the game and interacting with the kids!!! I maybe bias but I believe we had the best umpires behind the plate this weekend!!!
Lastly, thank you to all the volunteers, that answered my text or phone calls, sometimes they were last minute, to many to name but you know who you are! Thank you Joe Hartman (Mrs Hartman) for letting us use the wood bats! Thank you Train Station in Sunman for trusting us with the pitching machine!!
Thank you to our Griller and everyone in the concession stand.
Lastly, thank you to our Field Crew and groundskeeper for having the complex looking awesome each day!! I maybe bias again but we have the cleanest BATHROOMs in any sports complex!!!
Thanks to the city for allowing us to use the fencing for the HomeRun derby and those who answered the call to help put up and take down!!
Bottom line, it was great seeing kids compete all weekend! I learned through feedback which I appreciate of some minor changes and tweaks for the future!!!
It was a fun weekend and the mission was accomplished!!!
Hope to see everyone back next year, the weekend after 4th of July!!!

This years Home Run Derby was a success but was intense… the sole winner of the Adult Division and the only HomeRun that exited field 1 was from Jim Kelley of Franklin County…
The 10U division had a tie between Willow Austin of Franklin County and Caden Hautman of Batesville… the 11-14 had a 4 way tie between Liam Moon of Batesville, Sam R of Batesville, Trenton of Batesville and Lane Hunter of Franklin County….
Thanks to everyone that participated and Special Thanks to the Train Station in Sunman for the use of the awesome pitching machine and Joe Hartman with Knee High hitting for the wood bats (sorry we broke the bats)
