The mission and purpose of the Batesville Skatepark Project is to encourage physical activity and creative outdoor play by offering a cost free opportunity within our community for people of all ages and skill levels.

Wow, some more amazing news! Another of our generous early supporters over at New Point Stone Co. are AGAIN donating to the Batesville Skatepark and Outdoor Adventure! They are donating both soil and limestone so we can finish the landscaping around the pump track. Thank you New Point Stone Co. and for always supporting our vision.

Huge shout out to Ryan Karpilo and the youngins for getting out there an climbing in the cold. We are so excited for warmer weather and getting some good climbs in. Keep an eye out for our details around our grand opening for the bouldering wall.

The Climbing Wall Is Ready!

We’re excited to announce that the climbing wall is now officially open for use! The shredded rubber mulch fall zone has been installed, the safety signage is up, and everything is in place for a fun and safe experience.

We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the wall—and be sure to join us for the Grand Opening Celebration on July 4th! 🇺🇸🎉 Come climb, play, and celebrate with us!

Routes are going in. All we are waiting on is the surrounding falls zone and the rubber filling that will go around the bouldering wall. After that the bouldering wall will be open for you. Check back here for further updates and I will make sure to let everyone know when it is 100% open.

Exciting news!!! EP Climbing is coming out next Friday and Saturday (November 7th and 8th) to set our routes. If you are interested in helping with the route setting please reach out to us here via direct message and we will get in contact to assist. Also, the "landing/crash zone" will be going in on Monday November 10th. So barring any issues with the weather the bouldering wall will be open to use shortly after both of these features are completed. We are extremely excited to have this in Batesville and hope you guys are as well. Once everything has been completed we will make a fully open post to let the community know. Thank you once again for all your continued support and we hope to see you out there!

EP Climbing is doing an incredible job with the installation of our new bouldering wall. Pictures do not do this any justice as it is an incredible feature and I am super excited to have this at the park. There will be holds added to the wall, you will also be able to climb it via natural features built into the wall. This will have beginner to advanced routes and hopefully we will have an update on when the routes will be set! The fall zone and holds should be coming soon and we should have an opening date here shortly so please stay tuned!

Hey everyone!!! We know we have been pretty quiet but there have been a lot of things going on in the background and we have been working diligently on trying to get this ready to go. We are super excited to share this with you! Coming very very soon is this beautiful FREE public rock wall in Batesville, IN!!! Oh, did you think we weren't ready to show you this thing? THANK YOU BATESVILLE! We are officially out of skateboards. We appreciate the outpouring of support you have always shown us throughout the years. We were lucky to bring this to fruition with the support of the Southeastern Indiana YMCA through their partnership with the Indiana Pacers and we hope you have fun out there!

We are still in the background working on some project and will bring you those updates very soon! Thank you Batesville!
