This weekend, Hudson Stenglein and Theodore “Teddy” Moyer will proudly represent New York State at the Elementary National Duals in Nebraska.

We couldn’t be more excited to see them take the mat in Nebraska.

Congratulations to 𝑻𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒚 𝑴𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒓 on becoming one of only two members (𝑱𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒎𝒂𝒏 in the Masters) of the NY Wrestling machine to depart Las Vegas with TWO NATIONAL TITLES in in his luggage!!

Boasting an accumulative 9-0 resume; the Journeymen Wrestling athlete followed up the 4-0 (2 pins, 2 TFs) performance he delivered on Friday in Greco-Roman action by posting an equally, if not more dominant illustration of freestyle prowess (5-0; 2 falls, 2 techs) en route to completing the sweep of 35kg Futures hardware!!!

Embodying a "no quit" attitude". Moyer would rally from a 9=2 deficit in the final 1:14 of the title match by racking up 12 unanswered points to register a 14-9 comeback decision over top-seeded 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐦 (2026 USAW 12U Folk National Runner-up; 2023 USAW 10U FS National Runner-up), of Utah!

Two rounds earlier (quarterfinals), he'd build an 8-0 lead in the opening stanza via a 4-point counter exposure and two takedowns before hitting a snap go-behind early in the 2nd to cap off a 10-0 TF against second-seeded Alaskan, 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢 (2x U.S. Open Futures GR 4th; Multiple-time USAW Kids FS/GR AA and/or National runner-up)

His semifinal appearance being a rematch of the Greco-Roman title contest from earlier in the week (10-2 win) versus Delaware rep 𝐆𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐝 (Former 2x Super 32 Youth All-American/2022 National Runner-up); Moyer exploded for a highlight film quality 5-pointer off of a scramble that would have given him a 10-0 TF if not for the fact that he notched a stick at the 2:40 mark instead!!!

Requiring all of a combined sum of 1:10; "Teddy the Terror" outscored his first two opponents by a margin of 20-0 to produce victories in the form of a 10-0 TF and 44 over 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 (CA) and 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐜𝐊𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 (AK)!!

Versus the former [Chambers]; he struck for a pair of takedowns and added a leg-lace trifecta!

The latter [McKnight] was victimized by a throw-by off the whistle for a TD and then four consecutive guts that (to make it 10-0); the last of which succeeded in trapping him on his back for the slap of the mat!

Deservedly, the up-and-coming S2 star was recognized as the Outstanding Wrestler recipient in FS!
