The Austin Huns Rugby Club was founded in 1972 and is one of the first rugby clubs of its kind in Central Texas. Over more than 40 years, the club has developed an organization and a culture that have produced winning teams, first class coaches and players. The Huns' training and competition fields are unmatched by any other in the region. For many years now The Austin Huns Rugby Club remains one

the largest men's clubs in the United States, competing in all 3 National USA Rugby 15s divisions and the National 7s division.

⚡️OUR NEWEST HUNS⚡️

We welcomed six new players into the Huns brotherhood this past weekend at Lonestar 7s. Not only did they all produce excellent performances on the field throughout the entire tournament, they have also showed what it means to be a great Hun off the field by adding to our club culture in a positive way over the past several weeks.

We couldn’t be happier to see these boys in Huns blue this summer and can’t wait to see their development throughout the rest of the season. Join us in welcoming our newest Huns:

Action shots from last Thursday’s match versus at the Ranch! An evening full of hard hitting rugby, community, and of course plenty of stories shared between both clubs in the social afterwards. Games like this truly highlight how special the sport of rugby is and its ability to bring people from all over the world together in one place that share the same love for the sport.

Thank you again Morriston RFC for the match, the memories and for being top lads. We look forward to welcoming more clubs to the Ranch in the future to continue to grow the sport and our community. Up the Huns⚡️

Big week ahead as we get closer to the start of another action packed 7’s season!⚡️

We continue our player-led sessions on Tuesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm where the boys will continue to add to their skills sets and fitness levels as we head into the season.

The official 7’s season kick-off meeting will be held under the Big Tent on Thursday from 7pm-8pm. Come along to hear from our coaches, leadership and players as we walk through the 7’s season and answer any questions you may have. All players are expected to be there if able to.

As always, all levels of experience are always welcome. Come down to the Rugby Ranch this week and be a Hun this summer!⚡️

For the second year in a row, Huns will host a touring side from Wales. We are excited to welcome Morriston RFC to the great state of Texas. On May 28th, Austin Touch Rugby will take the pitch against Morriston Strollers @ 6 pm and @ 7 pm, The Huns will battle Morriston RFC 1st Team. This is the 150th Anniversary for Morriston RFC, and we are honored to host them and show them some Texas Rugby.
