What’s happening on the Grand River this past week? Here’s the latest:

The Grand is in great shape with the gauge at 7.25 ft in Ada.

We’re working weedlines for the smallmouth both along the bank and mid-river.

Topwater is still decent using poppers and scorpions. We’ve started adding swimflies into our mix, such as the Swingin’ D on a float, hover intermediate line to really work those weedlines and help stall the fly out.
