Crescent Moon Yoga - yoga outside the lines Crescent Moon is all about yoga in fun, familiar or even challenging environments! We're looking to get you into a practice - wherever works for you!

Located in the Western MI area (and traveling wherever a practice may be taken), CMY is looking to combine a love for yoga with your environment. What does this mean? We take our mats and meet you wherever you are in your practice. The classes are built to suit your circumstances: new practice in a non-studio setting to get some confidence in the poses, old pros at home to accomodate daily working

hours, anxiety management in your own home, soothing practice after a challenging outdoor experience, children's programs. You name it! Try this on: outdoor activities followed by a soothing yoga practice (we love hiking, snow shoeing and kayaking followed by big doses of Warrior poses). Corporate Wellness programs offered at your job site. Yoga in your own home to your favorite type of music (or no music at all)! Birthday parties! Girl's Out Nights! Whatever you can think of, wherever you may like to go -- we'll bring the yoga and the fun! Current programs in progress include: Corporate Wellness, Yoga Nidra, Gentle Flow, Power Yoga (hot yoga is always an option), Chair Yoga, Programs geared toward anxiety/sleeplessness and stress management for individuals in recovery, Children's Yoga.

I’m looking at what it means to be “authentic” in yoga right now. I’m finding some studio owners and teachers hold views and beliefs that are so unlike my own... so unlike the tenants of yoga... that I have decided to end those friendships.
