We have great playing facilities and an awesome family atmosphere within the Club. The Mahurangi Rugby Club prides itself on having ¨that old fashioned¨ rugby culture where everybody is welcomed and the rugby is played hard and physical. With the friendly spirit of both club members and the community, Mahurangi is the ideal place to play rugby and make new friends.

At New World Warkworth we love backing the people and organisations that make our community such a great place to live — and local rugby is a huge part of that. 🏉

Again this season, we have supplied the chocolate bars to Mahurangi Rugby Club for their weekly Player of the Day awards. 🍫👏
It might sound like a small gesture… but when you add it up:
🏉 The whole rugby season
🏉 Multiple teams across the club
🏉 Hundreds of kids turning up, giving it their all, supporting their teammates and having fun

…it turns into a pretty big pile of chocolate bars! 😄1040 to be precise!!

For us, it’s not really about the chocolate. It’s about celebrating effort, teamwork, sportsmanship and community spirit — the things grassroots rugby does so well.

A huge shoutout to all the players, coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters who make local sport happen every week. We are proud to play a small part in it. 💚
