With our touch season getting underway, here’s our updated Mahu Touch Field Map to help everyone find their way around the grounds!

We’ve made it easier for players, parents, coaches and supporters to locate their fields and get ready for some awesome touch! 🙌

🏉 FIND YOUR FIELD

🔵 Fields 2A & 2B: Located on the main fields, furthest from the clubhouse.

🔴 Fields 3A & 3B: Located on the upper left side of the grounds.

🔵 Fields 4A & 4B: Located on the upper right side, beside the hockey turf.

🔴 Field 5: Located near the main entrance.

🚫 PLEASE NOTE: FIELD 1 IS CLOSED.

📣 IMPORTANT REMINDERS

✅ Check your team’s draw for your allocated field.

✅ Allow plenty of time to park and find your field.

✅ Please keep walkways clear and be mindful of other teams and families.

✅ Respect our referees, coaches, volunteers and fellow supporters.

🏉❤️💙 WELCOME TO ROUND 1 💙❤️🏉

YAY! The 2026/27 Mahu Touch season is finally here! 🎉

We can’t wait to see everyone back on the fields tomorrow!

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO BAYLEYS MAHURANGI!

Thanks to their amazing generosity, EVERY team will receive a brand-new touch ball this season! 🏉 How lucky are we?!

📋 DRAW & COMPETITION STRUCTURE

Due to council field closures and grading, teams will have a few byes throughout the season.

🏉 Year 1/2: 2 byes | Non-competition, round robin all season.

🏉 Year 3/4: 1 bye
🏉 Year 5/6: 2 byes
🏉 Year 7/8: 1 bye

These grades will have two weeks of grading, followed by round robin games, with semi-finals and finals in the last two weeks! 🏆

🏉 Year 9/10: 2 byes | No grading, one competition grade, with semi-finals and finals to finish.

👕 FILL-IN PLAYER RULES

Short on players? Fill-ins are allowed in competition grades, provided they:

✅ Are registered Mahu Touch players
✅ Play in the same or a younger grade
✅ Wear their own team’s T-shirt
✅ Do not score tries

A quick reminder to please make sure ALL members of your team are registered, including:

It’s really important that everyone is registered so we can get everything finalised and move on to sorting out the draw for the upcoming season.

🏉 WOW… 80 TEAMS ALREADY! 🤩

We’ve already hit 80 team registrations for the 2026/27 Touch season! 🙌

Just a heads up, some of our more popular grades are filling up FAST and will be moving to a waitlist for team registrations soon.

Teams placed on the waitlist will be confirmed once we have a clearer picture of numbers across all grades.

⭐ NEED A TEAM? DON’T PANIC! ⭐

This does not apply to individual registrations for kids who need us to find them a team. We’ve saved spaces for you! 💙

If your child needs a team, keep those individual registrations coming and we’ll work our magic to get everyone on the field.
