ROCKETS

The Rockets started the season in the Primary grade and finished the season in Intermediate — a huge step up and a great achievement for the team! 🚀🏏 They fought hard all season, showing determination, resilience, and teamwork, with some fantastic wins along the way.

A big thank you to Steve for coaching the boys every week and sticking it out through some long games while umpiring as well. Your commitment and support have helped the team grow and improve throughout the season, and it is greatly appreciated.

WARRIORS

The Warriors were a new team added to the club this season, and they have certainly proven to be tough competitors! 💪🏏 Taking out the club trophy twice against the Sprockets was an awesome achievement and shows just how strong this team has become.

A big thank you to Adam and Tom for stepping in and helping take these boys further in their cricket skills week by week. Your time, effort, and commitment to the team have made a huge difference, and it’s been great to see the players grow in confidence and ability throughout the season.

Wow, what a season it’s been for the Waitara Sprockets! 👏

Firstly, a huge thank you to Nick for coaching and giving up his time each week to help the kids grow and develop their skills. Your dedication and support have made a real difference, and we truly appreciate everything you’ve done for the team.

It has been an incredible season filled with plenty of laughs, great teamwork, and lots of fun along the way. We’re proud of every player and the effort they’ve put in throughout the season.

🏏 End of Season Celebration – Kids vs Parents Cricket! 🏏

Tomorrow is our final event for the cricket season – our much-loved Kids vs Parents game!

🕟 Games kick off at 4:30 PM, so head down to your usual cricket pitch and get ready to battle it out. Parents and siblings are all welcome to jump in and join the fun! Remember we want all kids in their uniforms for some team photos at the end!

🔥 After the games, we’ll gather by the clubrooms for a BBQ, treats for the kids, and our prize giving.

It’s set to be a great afternoon to celebrate the season together – see you all there!

Rockets: Today the boys wrapped up their final game of the season against Stratford. It was always going to be a tough match, especially being short on players, but a big thanks to Stratford for helping us field a full team 👏

It was a fantastic way to finish the season, with the boys delivering their best bowling performance yet!

Player of the Day goes to Zane for an outstanding effort with the ball 💪🎉

Another big win for the Waitara Sprockets! West End Tigers won the toss and batted, but the Sprockets bowlers and fielders got straight to work! Blake Thorby was outstanding taking 1/4 and 4 marvellous run outs! Remi, George and Dodge also made run-outs. The batters went to work chasing down the total with ease. Dodge top scored with 22 from 11. George made 21 from 12 to bring the team home. Player of the day was Blake Thorby! Well done Team!

We always enjoy playing against Inglewood, and today was no exception—it was a fantastic game! They came out on top, scoring 215/4 to our 154/4, but it’s always a great time competing with them. Thanks again, Inglewood, for such an awesome match!

Player of the Day honours went to Sam for a brilliant bowled-and-caught wicket, and to Alec for delivering some excellent bowling and picking up two wickets.

Just one game left in the season!

The Rockets faced NPGHS in a close and action-packed game today! The girls managed to take the win 214–174 after a fantastic team effort all around.

Players of the Day were Lil B for snagging a wicket and Jaxon for outstanding all-round performance with both bowling and hitting.
