Has your child ever wondered about giving cricket a go?

Registrations are now OPEN for junior teams at Waitara Cricket Club!

Whether your child is in primary school or intermediate, we’d love to have them give cricket a go, and be part of our club.

It’s a great opportunity to get active, make new friends, learn some new skills and, most importantly, have fun in the sun! 🙌🏏

Junior cricket is open to all children in Primary and Intermediate school, so come along, get active, make new friends, and enjoy the game!

We are incredibly grateful to Rebel Sport for their generous grant. With the possibility of fielding two hardball teams this season, we are now able to upgrade our gear and ensure all of our players have the right equipment to play safely and confidently.

Thank you, Rebel Sport, for supporting our club and helping our young cricketers enjoy the game with the protection and equipment they need!

ROCKETS

The Rockets started the season in the Primary grade and finished the season in Intermediate — a huge step up and a great achievement for the team! 🚀🏏 They fought hard all season, showing determination, resilience, and teamwork, with some fantastic wins along the way.

A big thank you to Steve for coaching the boys every week and sticking it out through some long games while umpiring as well. Your commitment and support have helped the team grow and improve throughout the season, and it is greatly appreciated.

WARRIORS

The Warriors were a new team added to the club this season, and they have certainly proven to be tough competitors! 💪🏏 Taking out the club trophy twice against the Sprockets was an awesome achievement and shows just how strong this team has become.

A big thank you to Adam and Tom for stepping in and helping take these boys further in their cricket skills week by week. Your time, effort, and commitment to the team have made a huge difference, and it’s been great to see the players grow in confidence and ability throughout the season.

Wow, what a season it’s been for the Waitara Sprockets! 👏

Firstly, a huge thank you to Nick for coaching and giving up his time each week to help the kids grow and develop their skills. Your dedication and support have made a real difference, and we truly appreciate everything you’ve done for the team.

It has been an incredible season filled with plenty of laughs, great teamwork, and lots of fun along the way. We’re proud of every player and the effort they’ve put in throughout the season.
