2025/2026 season

Wow, is the only word that comes to my head right now. What an epic first season it has been being apart of the F2 Midgets New Zealand club and being a rookie this season.

The season started with a few downs but then as it went on the stats went up and the smile became larger. Absolutely love these things they are a blast and can’t wait for the 2026/2027 season. Thank you to all the photographers out there taking the meanest snaps and videos. Thank you to Baypark Speedway for the meetings this season, proud to be an M car.

I would like to thank mum and dad for taking me to the track to get out there and being my back support, Craig Hunter and Maddox Pearson for there epic crew work this season appreciate you guys heaps.

🚨UPDATE🚨

Saturday night 4th April saw our selves at Baypark Speedway for the final meeting there for the season.

The track was beautiful the whole night was very sticky it felt like racing on super glue.

Heat One:
Started off Grid 4, had some mean and fast battles track was smooth and grippy running that high line and found our selves crossing the line in 3rd

Heat Two:
Started off grid 9, was a bit of a difficult race for me the track was a bit slippery and was having some good battles with other fellow drivers to finish up in 9th

Feature:
Managed to qualify 8th out of 17 cars, this was a fun fast race, the track was really rutty and had a few holes in it, took a lot of upper body strength that race lol bouncing around, to find us crossing the line in 6th

Overall was a mint night for us to get them points up and have no damage what’s so ever and was a fast grippy fun track.

Huge thanks to the Crew that night and that always are there on the night Craig Hunter Maddox Pearson Mike Lecheminant you guys are a huge help and I’m glad to have you guys on the team.

Raceday for us here in Waihi, where tonight we go hit the clay at Baypark Speedway

🚨F2 TITLE UPDATE🚨

Saturday night 14th March saw our selves at Baypark Speedway for the all mighty A1F2 title and it was a bloody good night.

Heat One:
Pulled grid three for first race, started the race third but due to a yellow after the first lap the control tower told us to jump up a grid so we saw our selves with a full race restart starting off grid two. This was a fun and awesome race to also learn from had the lead for about 5 laps until a yellow came on and stuffed up the restart causing us to lose a few places and couldn’t find the right line to catch them back so ended up finishing 6th

Heat Two:
Got grid 14 for second heat, started off 14 was a good race having some good battles with other drivers and trying different lines finding us to finish up in 9th place.

Feature:
This was the big show for 1, 2 or 3, managed to qualify middle of the pack starting off grid 11 out of 22 cars, green flag dropped and away the 20 lapper went, managed to get up to 8th on the 4th lap until there was a car on its roof so the yellows came on with us off grid 8 for the restart had a few good battles and a hard drive for the rest of the race track slickened back up and the only thing to do was defend that line and we saw ourselves finishing 5th for the Aotearoa A1F2 title.

What an absolute great night for the night starting off not so well for us to making up for it in the feature super happy with this finished and looking forward to the next meeting, congratulations to the other three drivers for getting a podium place in the F2 title.
