HOSS WINTER LEAGUE - ROUND 7 COMPLETE

It's been a tricky one at Kauri Cliffs, and the competition is only getting stronger!

Shaun Rooney widens his lead back out to 10 points, with an excellent net 72, playing right at his handicap of 4! Can he keep it together? Only 3 Rounds left to secure the Green Jacket!

Darren Sullivan landed with a net 75.9, typically an excellent score, but with how tight Round 7 has been it only had him placed in 6th! Consistency is key, but when everyone is being consistent, you've got to take some risks to make up the difference. Still, 3 Rounds to go, and he's only 10 Points back, Darren is far from out of this race.

Regan Powell had only his second round scoring less than 80 Points, an uncharacteristic low ball ends with him dropping 13 Points to the leader. He's only 24 behind, but he'll need an excellent 3 Rounds to catch up!

Marcus Tessier finally remembers, and brings home the Round Win with an impressive 67.8 Net. To make it all sweeter he also snagged the Closest to the Pin for Round 7, getting himself a sleeve of balls!

Round 8 at Shinnecock Hills is well underway with 7 Players already completed, or partially completed, the daunting Par 70 Course. Black Tees and Sunday Pins means this is by far the hardest course yet, there will be blow ups, handicaps will adjust, who will come out on top?

Round 8 is available through till the 15th, so there's just shy of a week to go to get your scores in.

FORD CAPRI GROUP 2 - LIME ROCK

A classic returns to the leaderboards for September, Lime Rock!
Often the beginner track in a lot of simulators, Lime Rock teaches you how to balance the car with the pedals, and so becomes an important stepping stone into faster and more technical tracks.

The Group 2 Capri is a new comer to HOSS, but it's already one of our favourites! Enough power to get you into trouble, but it's mellow enough to be controllable. A rally car for the tarmac, this one is a blast!

HOSS SEPTEMBER LEADERBOARDS

It's a classic this month!

We return to the main event, Bathurst!
6.2 Kilometers of uncompromising road, 600 Horsepower, no Driver Aids to be seen... this is our most popular combination for a reason.
We're also putting up a bounty, $100 HOSS Voucher for anyone with the chops to beat Alex Sprague's lap record of 2:02.250, good luck.

We're also returning to a cult classic, Lime Rock Park!
We ran this track back in July 2024, and the racing was excellent, so we're running it back!
This time we're in a 1974 Ford Capri RS3100 Group 2 Race Car. Slow enough that this combo will be all about conserving momentum, but enough power to get you into trouble if you aren't respecting it, this one's going to be fun!

HOSS Junior Championship - Round 2 Race Afternoon!

We've just wrapped up our second Junior Race Afternoon here at HOSS for our July Leaderboard, and it was a banger!

Leo Swaney overcame the demons of Round 1 to claim an overall victory with 3 Wins and a 2nd Place! He also leads the overall drivers standings with 184 Points.

Chase Kelly was neck and neck with Leo for the whole round, but could only pull of 1 Race Win. 3 more 2nd places was easily enough to claim 2nd on the night. He's just 20 Points behind Leo in the overall standings, it's still all to play for!

Jonah Daly grabs another round podium after his impressive consistency landed him 2 3rd and 2 4th Places. He narrowly beat out his brother Joash by 4 points. He sits 5th in the overall standings, but not too far behind the podium spots.

The leaderboard for August is just a few days from ending, but that's still plenty of time to get your laps in!

HOSS Winter League 2026 - Post Round 6 Update!

Shaun Rooney still leads the way, but his lead has shrunk to just 7 Points! The title race is very much on!

Our reigning Champion Darren Sullivan has leapfrogged into 2nd place, hungry for the 3-Peat. 7 Points to make up over 4 Rounds, very very possible.

Regan Powell may have dropped a position in the standings, but he's still closing the gap to the leader, now just 13 Points behind.

Reminder: Everybody has one drop round that we've yet to begin calculating, so there's a few players that may appear like they're out of the race, that will be very much in the mix come the final round.

Josh Rooney takes out the Round 6 CTP. With an awesome 1.8 Meters, landing just inside the gimme circle and earning himself a Birdie, and a sleeve of balls.

Round 7 at Kauri Cliffs and Round 8 at Shinnecock Hills are available now, and close on the 3rd of September and 14th of September respectively. Come on in and set your scores!
