3rd in the National Championships held at Lake Rotoiti. Very happy with the outcome, as well as coming 2nd in the Railway Cup.

The weekend consisted of 4 heats for Nationals with a field of 7 boats. Then 2 heats for the Railway Trophy with a field of 10 boats. Was an awesome weekend with a great field of boats to race against.

Thank you to my sponsors:

And a big thank you to Chris Dufeu and Matt Hodson for helping get the boat started when it didn’t want to start.

Thank you to Delwyn Forsythe and Jeremy with Shot360 for taking the photos.

Haven’t posted on in here a while but thought I’d do a quick update on the first race of the season at Twizel.

I raced Ragged Edge during the weekend against the Clubman boats due to no other boats being in my class. Was a really good weekend to get some seat time and ready for the upcoming Nationals in Rotoiti at the end of the month.

I was lucky enough to get another ride in the F1 Super Boat Experience with Anthony, giving me some tuition on driving a tunnel.

What a way to end the season! We had our end of year Prize Giving back in August, down in the Deep South of Gore.
Over the season we attended 6 different weekends around the South Island, being fortunate enough to accumulate the most points across all classes, taking out NZ1.
Thank you to everyone who has helped this season, as well as the organisers and volunteers that do all the work behind the scenes. And a big thank you to my Dad who built the new Stealth boat, being the first season to race it.

M.L.C, E and F - Driver of the Year
Butler Marine, E class - Driver of the Year
Lancaster Motors - Driver of the Year
Oceans 60 - Most points of Ocean Race

Lake Tekapo race all done for 2025.
Freezing cold,but beautiful scenery.
I won my class, but on the last lap, the carburetors were icing up and motor started misbehaving.
The engine cut out about 10 boat lengths from finish bouy!
Dad and I had to paddle like crazy past the bouy to secure our class win!!
After a bit of a spell, we were able to get the boat started again and drive it back to the trailer.
Thanks to the Milton boat club for hosting the race, and all the volunteers for a great weekend.
Thanks to Rob Lawry for the race photo.
