After an incredible atmosphere last night, tonight’s game is officially SOLD OUT!

The crowd was loud, the energy was unreal, and we’re looking forward to doing it all again tonight.

A huge thank you to everyone supporting the team and helping make Queenstown one of the best places in the NZIHL to play.

Tonight we celebrate a special milestone as Connor Harrison skates in his 250th NZIHL game.

From breaking into the league as a teenager, to four seasons with the Dunedin Thunder, and then returning home to become a key part of the SkyCity Stampede, Connor has been a constant presence in New Zealand hockey for well over a decade.

Known for his competitiveness, skill and passion for the game, Connor has represented his club, his teammates and New Zealand with pride throughout his career. He continues to be one of the most respected players in the league.

250 NZIHL games is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the commitment, consistency and love of the game it takes to compete at this level year after year.

The SkyCity Stampede are back at home this weekend as we take on the Botany Swarm in a huge NZIHL double-header at Queenstown Ice Arena.

Friday 5th June – 7:00pm
Saturday 6th June – 7:00pm

After a strong start to the season, the boys are looking to keep the momentum rolling in front of our home crowd.
