Pete we thank you for everything you have done for the game 💙❤️

The Club is saddened to acknowledge the passing of Peter Rhodes (aka 6point) on 6th October 2026

He would have been 92 this coming November

Pete was a member of the club committee back in the early 2000s and was also one of the original ARL appointed Match Managers

His foray into match managing started at Otahuhu, he then went to Pt Chev for a time before returning to Otahuhu

For many years Pete could also be seen around Auckland Rugby League during the day helping out where he could (cleaning out sheds and rooms etc)

A Memorial service will held at a later date

Rest easy Pete / now reunited with his beloved wife and no longer in pain
