Miramar Peninsula, Sunday 1 November. An awesome loop that starts and finishes at Scorch-O-Rama. 8.00am at Huia Pool or ready to run at 8.30 am at Scorch-O-Rama.

Coffee and cake to finish of course.

Round the bays from Scorching Bay, out to Moa Point and back through Miramar and Shelly Bay.

Our 5* guide Peter Jordan led the team around the 17km loop from Plimmerton to Pukerua Bay, on a glorious sunny morning. Great coffee afterwards cafe.

A nice cruisey run on Sunday up Korokoro Stream, then a burst up the hill to Oakleigh St, with a long return run down Miromiro Road = 14km. Be there, or be square! 8am start from Huia Pool

Karapoti Gorge

This is an awesome loop of roughly 22k.

Starts off with a gentle run next to the river, before a decent climb up the 4 wheel drive track, a photo op at Birchville Dam and the back out on the road to Karapoti Road.

Meet at Huia at 8am or 8.45 at Karapoti Road.

After a steady climb up the Karapoti Gorge, we visit Craig Flat and the Birchville Dam.
