Attention Members – care to share your thoughts on MVT?

We’re only as good as the people who make up the MOVEMENT. community – and the experience they have with us.

We’d be so grateful to our Members if you could please leave a comment letting anyone thinking about joining MVT know why YOU keep coming back for more (or a star rating out of 5 if that’s more your style).

WE’RE HIRING!

We’re looking to add another Trainer to the MVT. Team 👏

We’re preferably after someone who can lead our Group Classes but who is also wanting to grow their own Personal Training business based from our gym.

We are offering set days/class times and can be flexible according to whatever else you have going on.

The gym is mostly empty outside of class times so this is a great opportunity to grow and scale your current PT client base (or build from scratch!) working around our Group Training timetable.

We have a great community here at MVT. and we’re looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running with high energy and friendly encouragement.

Our ideal Trainer is someone who ticks the following boxes:
✔️ Relevant qualifications and experience
✔️ Group Training experience preferred
✔️ Someone who is friendly, approachable, confident – and great with names!
✔️ Available to work across a mix of class times including 2-3 evenings per week (approx 5pm until 6.30pm), as well as the odd early morning start when required
✔️ Wanting to build their own PT client base
✔️ Reliable and flexible with great initiative

COMMENCING Wednesday, 26th October (final testing Monday, 19 December)

Women Only Class: Mondays + Wednesdays 11.15am
Mixed Class: Mondays + Thursdays 6.30pm

MVT Members: $25 per week ($200)
Non-Members: $35 per week ($280)
Paid up-front and in full.

Spots are limited to 12 people per group.
Classes run for 45 minutes.

In just over a week we’re kicking off the next 8-week block of our strength-training program, STRONGER. Who’s joining us?

The program is based around 4 main lifts – deadlift, back squat, shoulder press and bench press – and is great for anyone wanting to improve their lifting technique, gain confidence around weights and build their overall strength.

Our first block saw all participants make amazing gains in their strength in just 8 short weeks - and some are backing it up and going all-in again for round 2!

Week 1: we test where we’re at.
Week 8: we test how far we’ve come.
In between: we do the work.

THE DETAILS:

COMMENCING Wednesday, 26th October (final testing Monday, 19 December)

Today marks ONE WHOLE YEAR of MOVEMENT.

To be honest, we can’t remember life before this place…

Our goal was to create a gym where regular people could make regular exercise a priority in their busy lives. Somewhere they would look forward to turning up to (often). A place that would challenge them and push them outside of their comfort zones both physically and mentally. A place with a genuine sense of community; where everyone would feel welcome and inspired, no matter where they were on their fitness journey.

A year on, it feels like we’re on track.

Thanks to every single person who has supported us over the past 12 months. Everyone who has filled in a trial form and signed up - and even those still waiting for a spot (we’re sorry!!). To our family and friends who helped do the hard yards getting the building looking great again, and to Abby at Rise Enpointe Pilates who got on board and has created an equally awesome space upstairs.

To Hayley and Colin, two top-class Trainers who we can always rely on to step in where needed and give our family a break from small business life. We couldn’t do it without you.

And most importantly, our incredible Members who continue to show up and bring their big (big) energy each week; it’s all of you who have made MVT what it is today– a pretty sweet place to train!

Happy 1st Birthday MOVEMENT.
