Our Div 2 side has a massive clash against Lyttelton out at Lyttelton as they look to continue their strong season 💪

A special moment for our club as four of our Wahine were presented with their Linwood blazers 🐂

A proud achievement and recognition of the commitment, hard work, and contribution each of these women have made to the jersey and our club culture both on and off the field.

Kia ora Linwood Whānau,

Belfast have been working on this Div 1 Club Day Jersey for a couple of months now and it's time to let the cat out of the bag.

This special jersey represents Bill Bush and Tane Norton for what they have done for NZ Rugby and what Bill has done for Belfast and Tane for Linwood. Casey Delaney has been thinking for a while now he would like to do a club day jersey so Tim Macioce jumped on board and designed this pretty cool jersey.

Took many hours trying to get it right, trying to please everyone, but the only person we really had to please was Bill and he's really happy with what we have come up with, and the Norton family loved it as well!

This jersey will be played in by Belfast on their club day against Linwood and these playing jerseys are being auctioned off and 100% off the money goes back to the club.

Little bit about the jersey......
If you're a fan you know where the picture on the front came from. On each sleeve it has their name and All Blacks number and how many tests they played. Snake skin on the sleeves to represent Belfast, Maori designs on the front and back to represent both Bill and Tane. 1-23 is how many jerseys there are to be auctioned and in the middle of the crest is the trophy and date that they are playing for. The colar was an idea by Mark McQuillan and the reason we went with that is because of the era they played in .

So how this works -
Each Jersey 1 - 23 will be auctioned and each jersey starts at $500. The bidding is open now so to make a bid, comment below or private message Casey, Tim or message the Belfast Rugby Club. Bidding closes 3pm, 3rd of July at the Belfast club luncheon. But don't wait till then place your bid now.

What a weekend for the club with wins for our Wahine, Prem Reserves, Premiers and Bo****ks on a massive day at home 💪

Our Colts went down in a very tight battle, but plenty of positives to take away and a strong effort right to the final whistle.

Massive thanks to everyone who got down and showed support over the weekend. Seeing the sidelines packed and the green and black everywhere made Club Day one to remember💚🖤
