IT'S MATCHDAY!!!

The BOYS are on the road travelling to John Kerkhof Park in Cambridge for todays action!

The Reserves kick off at 12.30, hoping to continue their run of form after a smashing result against the previously unbeaten league leaders last week.

The Firsts will be looking to put their cup disappointment behind them and jump back on the winning wagon in their 3pm kick off!

This week both the Boys and Girls are travelling, and a fair distance too!

On Saturday the Men's First's and 23's travel to Cambridge.

The 23's will want to do the same as last week after an excellent result against previously unbeaten opposition, whilst the Firsts will want to jump back on the winning wagon again!

Kick off at 12.30 and 3 pm respectively at John Kerkhof Park.

And the Girls travel even further as they go to The Mount to take on Tauranga Moana at Fergusson Park.

The Reserves will want to continue their winning ways after a great mid week result and the First's will be itching to get back on to the pitch after a weekend off last week.

All TDP teams are at home this weekend, so come on down and support the youth if you can!

In our second game of the week we travel with the 14's Mixed Championship side as they visited Onehunga Mangere.

In a tight, competitive first half. Rangers broke the deadlock through FOX RANDELL (who went on to win Player of the Match).
Onehunga fired back quickly but COOPER MARLOW made it 2-1. a short time later, only for Rangers to conceded an equaliser shortly after that.

However, the away side finished the half stronger and were rewarded with a third after some great play down the left by ARI WHITELEY, who played in Cooper Marlow for him to cross for ISAAC GIBSON to finish.

The second half continued to be well contested but Rangers limited the home sides and 2 headed goals from COOPER MARLOW secured him the match ball and all 3 points for Rangers.

After match thoughts from coach, Lee Gray, “It was a game that could have easily gone either way, so to see the game out in the manner that we did was really pleasing. We had to match them physically but there were also some really nice passages of play and in the end, we finished stronger and deserved the result”.

In our first Game of the Week, we travel to William Green Domain, home of Fencibles, who had started the season unbeaten!

BUT WHAT A PERFORMANCE from the West Coast Rangers team, who took the game to the league leaders and beat them in their own backyard!

Starting the game, special mention goes to MAX HARRIS, usually a starting centre back, who put his hand up on the day as Rangers were without keepers due to injury ... and was outstanding!

Rangers took a 1 goal lead into half time thanks to JARED SOMA, playing his second game back following injury.

Fencibles hit back, but with 10 to go, MIKHAIL MUTUC, produced the match winning moment and gave West Coast Rangers all three points!

'Massive credit to every player today' said stand in coach Chad Coombes. 'This wasn't about individuals, it was a complete team performance built on commitment, effort and togetherness'!

Rangers bow out of the cup after a battle royale at Fred Taylor Park!
It took penalties to separate them, but Hibiscus Coast edged it.

Final score: West Coast Rangers 3 Hibiscus Coast 3 after extra time.
Hibiscus Coast win 4-3 on penalties.
