The 2degrees Girls Got Game – Hoops with Her Festivals are coming these school holidays!

These festivals are all about celebrating girls’ basketball, building confidence and creating a space where girls can play, connect and show what they can do. Whether you’re picking up a basketball for the first time or already lighting it up on court, this day is for YOU! 🔥

We’re also excited to have the NZ Breakers and BNZ Kāhu making special appearances at our festivals! 👀✨

These girls! 💚🖤

They showed loyalty, faith, and perseverance all season long.

From the very beginning, numbers were a challenge, but to make it to Nationals with a FULL 12 players is a testament to the effort, commitment, and support of everyone who rallied around them.

We always knew we’d have a team — we just didn’t know what it would look like.

These girls made it work. They qualified for Nationals, stuck together through every challenge, and never stopped believing in each other. Alongside their coaches, they gave everything they had.

Most importantly, they had fun, created lifelong memories, and built friendships and bonds that will last far beyond the basketball court.

Wouldn’t change a thing. So proud of this group.

Congratulations to Cooper Te Ratana and Kingston Kailahi-Aso on being selected for the New Zealand U18 Basketball team heading to India.

What an amazing achievement and one that is so well deserved. We are incredibly proud of you both and all the hard work you’ve put in does not go unnoticed.

Shout out to your families as well. Getting them to trainings, countless amount of team fees, time and support. On top of raising your amazing young men both on and off the court.
