BOOM π₯ FridayFlow
This week weβre discussing the Uppercut Press Lunge. A full body beginner workout that you can do with a standard steel mace or Macebell. It involves a Ribbon Uppercut, connected to a shoulder press and backward lunge.
1. Start by bringing your top hand to position 3 in Dagger grip (thumb down).
2. Drop the globe while keeping a 90 degree angle in the arms. The elbows lift up and back. The mace should now be in a parallel position from the ground.
3. Uppercut to the side as the handle hand moves over the head and pulls the mace around the head.
4. Bring the mace behind the body like youβre going to do a barbell squat.
5. Step back with the leg on the side of the glove of the mace
6. Sink down into a lunge as you press the globe hand up until the arm is straight above the head.
7. Drop the weight again behind the head and step back up out of the lunge
8. Reverse uppercut the mace back to the beginning position and try with the other hand.
