Our U14s played two very exciting games over the last few weeks. We played Blessington in a really close league match at Ballinacor GAA pitch, which was a very even contest with Blessington scoring a late goal to win the match. We then played Rathnew in a challenge match at Laragh GAA, which was another very even contest. The first thing we took away from these two games was the fantastic goals & points taken by our girls, they are starting to put the scores on the board at very important times when the pressure is on, the second thing we took away from it was the work rate our defence puts in every game, they just never stop tackling and winning balls that they have very little chance of winning and are very impressive on a constant basis.

Some of our 1st year U14 players were also involved in a 6th class LGFA blitz that they qualified for in Parnell Park Dublin last week. The girls represented their County and got to wear Wicklow jerseys. The girls made a very good account of themselves and didn’t disappoint, with a victory over a Dublin School along the way, only to be beaten in the final by a single point by another Dublin school.

Well done to our under 8s and 10s who travelled to coolkeno Saturday morning and preformed brilliantly.

This group are improving every time they step out.

Thanks also to all the kids as they brought cake and a singsong as they celebrated Eugene’s roundy birthday 🎂🥳💚💛

A massive well deserved thank you from our club to Annacurra GAA & LGFA for their excellent support and hospitality at our adult ladies game yesterday evening. Unfortunately the game was abandoned due to an injury to our goalkeeper Rebecca. Annacurra kept the pitch lights on, offered tea and supported us in any way needed until the ambulance arrived at 10:30. We are hugely appreciative for this care. Wishing Rebecca a speedy recovery, we can’t wait to have you back in action💚💛

As the dust settles on what was a fantastic cup campaign for our adult ladies, we want to acknowledge the amazing support we received on the sideline yesterday at the Division 2 final. Although the result didn’t go our way, it was phenomenal to see a packed sideline and 30 women wearing the Clara jersey with pride! We are delighted to have the Division 4 final to still look forward to💚💛

The support, atmosphere, and sense of community on display showed exactly what makes Clara such a special club to be part of.

We are always looking to grow our teams and we'd love to welcome both new players, as well as former players who might be thinking about putting on the boots again.

Whether you've never played before, haven't played in years, or are looking for a new challenge, there's a place for you in Clara. Football is about so much more than the game itself - it's about friendship, fitness, belonging, and being part of something special.

Our u12 yellow team travelled up to play Newtown on Saturday evening in the sunshine!

Another brilliant performance by these girls who are improving every match! Fantastic never give up attitude, teamwork and skills on display all over the pitch!

The future is definitely bright for these girls!
