It may have been raining from the heavens and blowing a gale but our u8 and u12 girls were not to be put off! They heading to Gorey Rugby Football Club for their first blitz of the season. It was a special day for our club as we fielded an u8 girls team for the first time in the club’s history and our little athletes could not have made us more proud! Both teams had a number of players earning their first cap for Rathdrum today so a special mention for them is also called for! Thank you to Gorey for their hospitality and for a great day of rugby!

Both teams are recruiting so please get in touch if you think your daughter would like to give rugby a try!

The children were brilliant and a credit to their schools and lots of fun was had! A big thank you to our CCRO Steph for all her hard work in organising today and to all the coaches who gave up their time to ref the matches.
