Great to see some of our senior mens team up and coaching our minis today. A brilliant initiative that we hope to run throughout the season for all Minis groups. Well done lads!!

It was a beautiful morning in the club this morning. The coffee dock was open all morning, the sauna was on and the gym open. The club shop was open all morning selling a huge range of club gear. Our u12 parents had a meeting to launch the planning for the u12 tour and we ran a boot exchange.

We are always looking for new players, coaches and volunteers at every age group. (Boys and girls) Minis rugby for boys and girls u6-u12 takes place every Sunday morning from 9:30pm.

Leinster South East League – Group 1

A few weeks ago this group came together and began pre-season training. Since then, a huge amount of hard work has been put in behind the scenes by the lads and yesterday evening they got their just rewards.

Wicklow U14s produced a strong all-round performance to against AR Vikings in their second game of the season.

Liam Kelly opened the scoring after sustained pressure, before Aaron Charmant showed great pace to score Wicklow’s second try. Wicklow led at half-time.

The second half was very evenly matched, but Wicklow’s forwards created the opportunity for Liam Kelly to score his second try, converted by captain Max Lundberg.

Shortly before the final whistle, No. 8 Andrew Gough made a superb break from the scrum to score Wicklow’s final try.

A fantastic team performance from Wicklow, with Jack Dowling making frequent tackles and putting in a massive defensive shift 💪 The team defended their try line brilliantly right to the end, earning a well-deserved victory.

A special mention to Aaron Charmant, Kwame Yennusick and Levi Lynch, who all made their home debuts and had great games 🙌

Thank you to AR Vikings for a tough, competitive match played in good spirit by both teams.

The lads can take immense pride in their performance. Bottle that feeling and let’s go again 👊

Busy weekend for our boys and girls kicks off this evening with our u13s hosting AR Vikings. Lots of games on Saturday and Sunday also. Best of luck to all teams. All support welcome. The coffee dock will be open all weekend serving freshly brewed coffee. ☕️ ♥️🤍🖤🔥🔥🔥

This is a huge weekend for the club as our men’s teams launch their Leinster League Div 1A campaigns tomorrow afternoon.

The J2s get things started at 1:15pm, with the J1s following at 3:00pm. And what a way to begin — we welcome last year’s league champions, Boyne.

Two cracking games await, so make your way up to the club and get behind the lads! The bar and coffee dock will be open all day. All are welcome.

WRFCs mighty u12s took on & tamed Hell & Back on Sunday!!

In a brilliant display of team work they helped each other go over and under obstacles. Through bogs, mud, ice baths all along the 4.5k course.
A savage effort by all and a massive well done to the lads.

A hugely improved performance by our U14s girls in just their second game together against a strong Gorey team in Gorey.

Wicklow were pipped 25-24 on the scoreboard, but again all of our 22 girls had plenty of game time. Debuts at this level for Aoife and Abigail.
Tries from Anna, Abigail (2), and Ruby with 2 fine conversions by outstanding ‘Player of the day’ Olivia. Well done too to yesterday’s Captain Eleanor. More to come, week by week!!❤️🤍🖤🏉
