What an absolute inspiration 👏🏽

Over 41kg lost in total (7 stone) and the determination this lady has to keep going and keep bettering herself is nothing short of incredible.

A young child, shift work, busy life, yep all those ‘excuses’ people use as to why they ‘can’t’ start. Your kids should be the biggest reason you start, stop blaming them for why you haven’t.

I can’t even describe the work ethic this lady put in. To keep going, to keep showing up, to stay consistent. Wow.

Nowt people complain about losing a few kg and give up the minute a bit of summer comes. This lady has shown up through every single season, event, Xmas, birthdays the lot. Again, your excuses are just keeping you stuck.

This is why I love what I do. Surrounded my powerful woman daily is one of the most amazing feelings in the world.

Celebrating with her first ever shoot this was about empowerment. Showing us women can be strong and confident. Exactly what she is, and setting an amazing example for her family.

Once again, no meal plans used. No toddler calorie amounts. Her menstrual cycle is still in full flow and not affected (another thing that is NOT normal and should NOT happen) No fast track methods either that majority of people are taking. Just complete work ethic. She now understands nutrition. She knows how to fuel. She knows how to eat when doing night shifts, she knows how to train correctly. All tools you need to keep your results.

How amazing is this lady and she is complete proof you can change and you can accomplish what you want. Her story is just amazing, and seeing her on that day glowing with happiness and confidence is up there with one of the greatest moments 🥹

Summer ain’t a time to slow down or regress, we manage it and understand how to have more social periods without regaining everything you lost from January -May, but listen, if you want to keep the all or nothing mindset that’s ok. I spent years wasting time with that mindset. But I’ll tell you now, you’ll be in the same position every single year.

Meet Lauren ✨

Where do I even start. An absolute inspiration for her young daughters and for anyone out there who may think change is not possible.

Lauren is one of my longterm clients. We’ve worked through many different stages of her life. Juggling 4 young kids, roadblocks, things happen in her personal life that could have stopped her, but she never gave up.

This is the result of consistency, hard work, and actually wanting change.

I knew what she was capable of, and sometimes we need that push to do it. Doing a shoot was a massive comfort zone breaker for Lauren, but I knew it would be the best thing she ever done. She can be quite hard on herself, and always puts everyone else first. She dedicates her life to her family, weekends with her kids, school drops, working during the day, different activities for them mid week, she didn’t have spare time, and she most definitely didn’t have a clear run.

Doing something like this proves to yourself you are capable, and that’s exactly what this shoot was about. For all my ladies. Each one had their own story and I can’t wait to share them all.

When Lauren first started with me, she was quite, lacked confidence, had little self belief, so seeing her on the day of the shoot had me in tears at least 50 times 😢 both of us 😂

The changes in this lady are not just physical, and that’s the important part.

None of this was achieved with a plaster meal plan or toddler calories, calories stayed above 1700 and up into the 2,000 throughout. Meal plans so nothing, it’s easy hand them out, it’s not coaching in my opinion. Teaching someone how to understand nutrition, how to adhere to it, how to stay focused when motivation drops, and to keep them going - that’s coaching.

And the best part? The shoot was three weeks ago and zero rebounding. Make sure when you’re looking at photoshoot pics, you see where that person is a few weeks later.

Lauren knows how proud I am of her, I’ll never be able to out it into words. I’m excited to continue working with this absolute Queen 👑 growing season incoming 🚀

Weekends don’t ruin your progress.

The habits you’ve built around weekends do.

If every Monday feels like a fresh start, stop focusing on being “better” and start understanding WHY weekends keep derailing you.

Most women either:

❌ Restrict too much during the week

❌ Have zero structure at weekends

❌ Use food as their only form of comfort and reward

Once you identify the reason, you can actually do something about it.

The women who get results aren’t more motivated.

They just have a plan for the days that usually trip them up.

What’s the best meal plan to lose fat?

What the most optimal breakfast I should eat for fat loss?

All irrelevant. What is relevant? Is being consistent with what’s required to get you the results you’re looking for.

Everyone knows how to be consistent. But what they are consistent with shapes there life. Will determine where they are a year from now. And will either get them closer or further from there goals.

You cannot say you want to reach a certain goal, but do the bare minimum to do what’s required.

We can all wish for XYZ, that’s easy. But only few actually do what’s needed to reach them.

What are you consistent with? And is it moving you towards your goals? Or away from them?

Anything great in life comes from hard work and consistency , whether it’s running a business, accomplishing a fat loss goal, it’s the work that goes on behind the scenes that make it happen.

When you have big dreams and can see the life you want, it makes it all worth it. I’ve had so many people say ‘you’re so lucky you can take time off when you want’ especially since I’m pregnant, when in fact, running a real business is the total opposite. You take time off the business suffers, your clients suffer, and the bills etc, don’t just stop because we take a ‘break’.

When you work for yourself it’s the most rewarding feeling in the whole world, because your truly passionate about what you do, but to be successful, it’s not a thing you dip in and out of.

Same goes for a fat loss journey. Doing 8 week stints, stopping for 3 months, then another 8 week block and repeat. You’re slowing the whole process down.

People can underestimate how much work goes into running your own business, and that’s ok. I work 7 days a week, haven’t taken a holiday in years without working & don’t actually ever fully switch off.

Everyone doesn’t need to understand it. But surrounding yourself with people that do, makes all the difference. They get it, they understand the work load, and they don’t make you feel bad for doing it.

Just like your fitness goals. Having true support means not calling you boring for skipping drinks, not telling you live a little when you say your going to the gym instead of getting a takeaway, it’s encouraging you to reach your potential.

I’m building a life for my future, and that works pays off when you keep going. But it doesn’t happen straight away, play the long game with your goals. Stay focused. And don’t quit 🫶🏽

So for anyone thinking of chasing their goals, it is the most rewarding feeling in this whole world, it’s hard, there will be setbacks, you’ll feel like quitting but trust me it is so bloody worth it.

And your future self will thank you for doing it ✨

The comfort zone…

A place that keeps you stuck.

It’s easy, it’s familiar, it’s comfortable. But it’s what you’ve always done.

Feeling nervous about something new that’s a sign you’re about to grow.

Many people don’t even start because of this, it prevents change from occurring.

Anything good that came to me was because I left my comfort zone, and did it in fear anyways.

Joined the gym with zero experience or idea on what I was doing, turned out it changed my whole life.

Left a stable job with guaranteed income to back myself on my business, I had rent, bills etc - I had no option but to make it work, and it is still to this day the best decision I ever made in my life.

Got a one way flight to Spain on my own knowing nobody over there, ended up staying there for just under 2 years, and was one of the best things I ever did the amount of growth that occurred was insane. I cried on the way to the airport and almost turned back.

Posted content daily for over a year sharing my own journey before even becoming a coach regardless of what people thought, that can be hard when you live in a small town and you start putting yourself out there - led to me helping so many ladies and building a successful business that’s getting stronger each year.

Those are just a glimpse of certain things, there’s been so many more that all felt scary at the start and I could have easily not done them and stayed where I was. But they all led to amazing things.

Starting a fitness journey, doing a photoshoot, starting a business, training for a marathon etc - all things that require work, and will feel uncomfortable. But the feeling after is priceless.

The people who push past doubt, fears and stop relying on ‘MoTiVaTiOn’ will always accomplish their goals.

Anyone successful has faced self doubt and fear, but they do it anyways 🫶🏽

Stop letting your comfort zone prevent you from reaching your potential. You get one life ✨
