🌟 August round-up for our adult club members 🌟

It's been a busy summer for adult members of Ratoath AC. Training continues week on week, with mileage building for various upcoming races and events. Shout out to those who are getting stuck into their marathon block, making sure they get the long slow runs in, seen here having the all-important coffee and chat post-run ☕️

As always, we've had club representation at various road races throughout August. First up, well done to Audrey at the Inner City 5k, renowned for its high-energy party atmosphere! 🎊

Up next, kudos to Aaron and Elisa who ran the Carlingford 5k 💪🏼 a scenic route on a lovely summer's evening 🌞

On the road to Dublin marathon.. the Frank Duffy 10 mile provided a decent mid-block training race. Well done to Jenna and Craig on powering through the course in Phoenix Park 🙌🏼

Now on to half marathons, well done to Niamh at the Athy Half Marathon! A tough course with numerous out-and-backs 🥵 And to Edel running in her hometown in the BnM Tullamore Half Marathon. Glad at last for a drop of rain to take the edge off the end of a hot summer🌦 The course was well directed and very well supported. A challenging race but enjoyable nonetheless!🏃🏻‍♀️

We are geared up and ready to enjoy our upcoming Ratoath Half Marathon next weekend! Looking forward to seeing you all there🏅
