Little Lamb of the match goes to LStew (aka Octopus)!!! Laura played back stop tonight and at times it seemed like she had eight or nine arms. She caught every stray ball that tried to make its way passed her and got out at least three players with her phenomenal catches. Well done Stew, keep up the great work!

What an evening to play rounders!!!
The Mighty Lambs took on Skryne tonight. Sadly the result didnā€™t go our way but by god did we leave it all on the pitch.

We knew the competition would be fierce so we came out swinging!! The Lambs got off to a phenomenal start with brilliant fielding keeping scores to a minimum and big hits clocking up our points.

We had one inning that let us down where we conceded too much but weā€™ve certainly learned a lot playing an experienced team and we are READY for the semis!!! If we play like we did tonight, we have no doubt the semi will be a cracker.

Each and every Lamb gave it socks tonight and should be very proud - special mention for the bowler Ash and the back stop Lstew (aka Octopus) who played a blinder!

As always we want to thank Chris for making the journey tonight and for always pushing and motivating us!

Dublin Ladies Blitz Champos!!!
The Mighty Lambs took on The Mets this evening and won 12-3! We thoroughly enjoyed the Blitz and it was great to get to play all the Dublin based teams and get more experience for the league. Special thanks as always to Chris for organising the blitz and for pushing us hard in training - and also putting up with our messing šŸ˜‡. Weā€™re looking forward to our next game and wish all the Dublin teams the very best in their remaining games!

What an evening to win a game of rounders!!
The Lambs secured their second win of the season against St Finianā€™s this evening in Tymon park. It was by no means an easy win with a final score of 27-21.
St Finianā€™s are a very strong side and we were not at our best today! The innings were relatively level throughout the game as our batting let us down but thankfully our fielding kept us in play! It wasnā€™t until the 4th that we kicked into gear and managed to clock up 15 runs which ultimately made the difference!
Lots to work on in training next week to prepare for the next match

Todays Lamb of the match is Zita!! Zita played a blinder outfield and was collecting every ball like she owned them! Her final catch of the day ended the game with Connollys batting out! It was a fast ball that many would have struggled to see coming! Well done Zita!

Winner alright! The Lambs are off to a great start with their first win of the season against Sean Connollys of Longford! Despite the miserable weather, the Lambs came out swinging first and scored 7 on the first inning. We hit our stride for the second inning and managed to increase our lead by 10! We have been working hard on our fielding so we were delighted to keep Connollys at bay throughout the game. Special mentions to Rachel and Laura whoā€™s big hits helped us to clock up the points! To our bowler Aisling who played a blinder and is growing in confidence with each game. Finally to Zita who ended the game with a phenomenal catch. Huge thanks to Connollys for a fantastic match and for their hospitality afterward. We wish them the very best for the coming games.
