BACK WHERE WE BELONG.

For the first time in over two decades, Offaly are back in an All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Final.

After a remarkable season that has seen the Faithful return to the top tier, survive Division 1A, reach a Leinster Final and now secure a place in the last six of the All-Ireland Championship, another huge day awaits.

This is a standalone fixture and one of the biggest Offaly championship games of the modern era.

A massive Cork support is expected to travel, while Offaly supporters will be making the journey in huge numbers after following this team all year. The atmosphere should be incredible and demand for tickets is likely to be huge.

The last time these sides met in championship action, over 29,000 attended the All-Ireland U20 Final in Thurles. Expect another huge crowd as two of hurling’s most passionate counties collide.

Fixture details confirmed.

Offaly’s Tailteann Cup Quarter Final clash with Wexford will take place on Saturday, June 13th at 1:00pm in Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

The Faithful earned home advantage thanks to their impressive Round 2A victory over Down, while also benefiting from an extra week’s rest ahead of this weekend’s knockout encounter.

An early 1:00pm throw-in awaits, with a place in the Tailteann Cup Semi-Final on the line. After overcoming one of the competition favourites in Down, Offaly are now just 70 minutes from Croke Park.

Offaly’s reward for defeating Down in Round 2A is a home Tailteann Cup Quarter Final and an extra week to prepare.

Standing in their way are Wexford, who travel to Glenisk O’Connor Park this weekend with a place in the semi-finals at stake.

The Faithful produced one of their performances of the year to overcome one of the competition favourites in Down. Now attention turns to another huge championship test on home soil.

A place in the last four awaits the winners.

Croke Park or Thurles? 🤔

No venue has been confirmed yet for Offaly’s All-Ireland Quarter Final against Cork, but where would you like to see it played?

This feels like one of the biggest days for Offaly hurling in a long time. The Faithful are back in the last six and a huge travelling support is expected, while Cork supporters have been packing out stadiums throughout this year’s championship.

The 2023 U20 Final between the counties brought almost 29,000 supporters to Thurles, and there’s every chance this Quarter Final could attract another massive crowd.

For many Offaly supporters, these are the days we’ve been waiting for. Big championship occasions. Big travelling supports. Big opportunities. 💚🤍💛

Whether it’s Croke Park or Thurles, it promises to be a special day for the green, white and gold.

Back on home soil.

After last week’s opening-round defeat to Antrim, Offaly return to action this Sunday as they welcome Longford to Glenisk O’Connor Park in Round 2 of the Leinster Junior Football Championship.

It’s a familiar opponent for the Faithful, with the sides meeting for the third time already this year. The most recent encounter came just over a month ago when the counties played out a draw in the Leinster Championship.

Throw-in is at 2:00pm in Glenisk O’Connor Park as Offaly look to get their campaign up and running.

🚨 All set for the Tailteann Cup Quarter Final Draw this Monday

The huge win over Down has earned Offaly a home Quarter Final.

The Faithful produced one of their best performances of the year to overcome Tailteann Cup favourites Down in Round 2A and secure a place in the last eight.

The reward is a home Quarter Final in Glenisk O’Connor Park on the weekend of June 13th/14th.

After today’s Round 3 games this is what is ahead.

Possible opponents:

🏐 Sligo
🏐 Wexford
🏐 Wicklow

With repeat pairings not permitted, Down cannot be drawn against Offaly again.

After the Down result, confidence will be high, but there are no easy games left in the competition.

A disappointing afternoon for Offaly in Round 3 of the Senior Camogie Championship as Kilkenny claimed the points in UPMC Nowlan Park.

The Faithful remain on two points from their opening three games, following the win over Wexford and defeats to Limerick and Kilkenny.

Attention now turns to two crucial fixtures against Clare and Dublin, where there will still be plenty to play for as Offaly look to finish the group strongly and hopefully remain in Senior.

Camogie Championship Continues 💚🤍💛

Offaly travel to UPMC Nowlan Park for Round 3 of the Senior Camogie Championship as they take on Kilkenny.

A tough test awaits against the Cats, but another opportunity for this young Offaly side to make their mark on the championship.
