Kildangan GAA

Kildangan GAA Kildangan is a village in south Kildare between the towns of Athy, Kildare and Monasterevan. Kildangan GAA are a vital part of our local community.

Since our re-establishment in 2001, our club has thrived at both underage and adult levels. In 2010, we opened our ground, More O'Ferrall Park, on top of that, we were also named the Kildare GAA Club of the Year in 2010. This is thanks to the support of everyone in the locality and the assistance of local businesses. Long may it continue!

πŸ’šπŸ’› LEAGUE DONE. CHAMPIONSHIP AHEAD. πŸ’šπŸ’›

After a league campaign that saw plenty of progress and development, attention now turns to the Tom Cross Junior Football Championship.

A local derby with Ballykelly awaits in Round 1, followed by another neighbouring clash against Castlemitchell before the group stages conclude against Cappagh.

There are still a number of weeks to go, but supporters may wish to keep the dates free.

Please note that all fixtures are subject to change. Any amendments will be communicated through the club’s official channels.

πŸ’› JUNE 200 CLUB DRAW πŸ’šπŸ’›

This Friday, as the Alan Mahon Community Event comes to a close, we’ll also be holding the June 200 Club Draw in the clubhouse, immediately before the main prize draw.

With another €1,000 up for grabs, one lucky member could quite literally be taking the money and running!

A sincere thank you to all our members for your continued support. The 200 Club remains a hugely important part of helping Kildangan GAA continue to develop and plan for the future.

Congratulations once again to our May winners, the First Class Parents Syndicate from Kildangan National School.

Best of luck to everyone entered in Friday night’s draw. πŸ€

We would like to support a very worthy fundraising effort being undertaken by Joanna Carter.

Joanna’s husband Fergus is one of our U12 coaches and, following the sad passing of Fergus’s brother Peter in March after a brave battle with cancer, Joanna is taking on the Waterford Marathon on 21st June in aid of palliative care services.

We know how important these services are to so many families and wish Joanna every success with her challenge.

If you would like to support this worthy cause, please consider making a donation through the link on our website

πŸ’š Best of luck Joanna from everyone in Kildangan GAA.
