Coill Dubh AFC are a Soccer Club based in a Bord Na Mona Village in North Kildare formed in 1978. We currently have 12 teams Including Our First Team, Second Team, Masters Team and Under Age Teams from Under 14s down to our Academy and We are currently in the works of starting a Football For All Programme. Our Home Ground is Cusack Park, on The Dag Welds Road on the way into Coill Dubh. Our Senior
Teams currently play in the KDFL and in a recent search Our Club has proven to be the most successful club in the history of the KDFL. From 1998/99 to 2011 we finished in the top two in the top division in the KDFL on 12 occasions in 14 years, winning the league a record 6 times in that period and we are the only club to have won 3 League Titles in a row from 2002/03 to 2004/05. We also were the first side to retain the Lumsden Cup in 2011, We have endured some tough times much the same as all clubs have in our leagues in the last few seasons but in our last full season out we won the League and Cup Double and hopefully can get back to emulating some of our past Great Teams. While Our Underage play in the KDUL and our Club Colours are Black/White with Red. Our First Team Manager is Paudie O’Sullivan 0879768936, Our Second Team Managers are Mark Musgrave 0858719125 and Alan Mitchel 0852090218 and Our Masters Team Manager is Trevor McLoughlin 0876661040. Since 2010 we have Superbly Built up our Home Grounds thanks to the hard work of our club members behind the scenes with Floodlights, Nets behind both Goals, Dugouts and Fencing being installed around our Main Pitch along with 2 other pitches which we have put up additional lights for training and for the community to walk around. We are Currently over Half Way through the building of our New Dressing Rooms/Club House with Phase One Complete and Phase Two in Progress. With the Feeling of a New Era for Our Club always expanding adding to our Home Grounds along with new teams, players and members we are always on the lookout for people to join and help us broaden our horizon. If you wish to join just drop into Cusack Park or reach out to a club member.
