A great night to be had.
A fantastic group within the community who respond as directed by the national ambulance service to those in need of certain emergency medical assistance.
Spread the word, hopefully it won't be a service you will need but a great cause to get behind.

Lock19 Community First Responders are running a table quiz in Welds' of Robertstown on the night of Friday November the 10th @ 8pm.
Music on the night by Gary O'Brien!!!
All funds will go towards the group to purchase more life saving equipment and keep our responders fully trained and up to date with certification and processes.
ALL ARE WELCOME!!!
More and more spot prizes are constantly being added, promises to be a great night.

A great scheme to have in the locality going forward.
Would be a good idea for clubs to map out their ground with eircodes of nearest houses to those remote spots of grounds in the event emergency services were required.

We are delighted to announce that we here at Lock19 Community First Responders are "Officially LIVE" from Thursday September 14th!!

We will be on call 24/7 365(6) days of the year.

With CFR Ireland and National Ambulance Service (NAS) and Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) as guides and tutors we have been trained to the highest standards to help those in need within our community.

Our starting radius is 5km from Mylerstown cross, Robertstown and will cover the majority of Allen Parish, Kildare reaching from parts of Coill Dubh Robertstown, towards Caragh, Kilmeague and Allen.

There are some areas overlapping with neighbouring existing Cfr groups and these areas will benefit from multiple Cfr groups.

We will be tasked with chest pain, cardiac arrest, choking and stroke.

If you or a loved one is in need of urgent medical attention please dial 112 or 999.

Irish clay shooters beware!!

This is a snippet from the Fi****ms Expert Committee report released today.

They want all clay shooting to be limited to authorised clay grounds much like the pistol club situation.

This would see an end to local clay shoots on farm land etc !!

If you want to keep your sport alive then start contacting your local representatives before it’s too late.

Pheasants are most likely to be killed by predators on unfamiliar ground, new research shows.

Congrats to this year's winners, actually a reverse of last year! Conor Graham won heaviest bird and Eamonn Mahoney won longest tail, prizes presented by club secretary Mark McLoughlin.
Tough conditions after some serious rain fall.Thanks again to Weld's pub Robertstown for allowing us to use their premises. Let's hope a bit of frost arrives soon to harden up the very soft and heavy ground!
