🏉 U18 PRE-SEASON BLITZ 🏉

Letterkenny U18s got their pre-season campaign underway with a competitive three-team blitz against Dungannon RFC and Royal School Dungannon.

The morning began with two narrow defeats. Dungannon RFC edged a physical opening encounter 12–5, scoring the decisive try with the final play after Ben Ramsey had crossed for Letterkenny. Royal School Dungannon then claimed a slender victory in another closely contested game, with Letterkenny producing an excellent defensive display.

Letterkenny found their rhythm in the second round of fixtures, securing back-to-back victories. Aiden Keeney scored against Dungannon RFC, with Matthew Farrell adding the conversion to complete a well-deserved 7–0 win.

The final game brought a 14–5 victory over Royal School Dungannon. Ronan McFadden and Ethan Rodriguez crossed for the tries, while Matthew Farrell successfully converted both. A determined Letterkenny defence also held their opponents up over the line twice.

Overall, it was a very encouraging start to pre-season, with plenty of positives to build on ahead of the league beginning in two weeks’ time.

Thank you to Dungannon RFC and Royal School Dungannon for a competitive and enjoyable morning of rugby.

🏉 WINNING START FOR THE U16s! 🏉

Letterkenny RFC U16s made a fantastic start to their season today, securing a 33–7 away victory over Royal School Dungannon.

Despite the final scoreline, this was a physical and tightly contested encounter. The Letterkenny lads rose to the challenge and produced an excellent team performance.

Sam Webber opened the scoring following a well-worked lineout move, before Martin Corbett crossed for two excellent tries. After a strong first-half display, out-half Dylan Curley intercepted twice after the break, running both tries in beneath the posts.

Letterkenny RFC 12–27 City of Derry RFC

Our Senior Men’s 1XV came out second best against City of Derry at Dave Gallaher Park today.

While the result didn’t go our way, a massive congratulations must go to Connor Kenna and Jarrod Arnehold, who both made their senior debuts after stepping up from last season’s U18 squad. 👏

It’s fantastic to see young players progressing into the senior side, getting involved and making a real impact. The future is bright! 🖤💛

All players need to be fully registered to ensure they have the appropriate cover in place and are eligible for team selection when the competitive action gets underway.
