We kicked off our Schools Gaelic Games Program last night with an information night for our new TY Ambassador's and their parents.
We have no less than 13 boys & girls joining the program this year.
We also presented certificates to last TY Ambassador's.
Thank you to Paudi, Ray and all our TY Ambassador's for the incredible work they do in our Schools and of course to the School and Teachers for supporting the Program.

Fantastic evening in the Complex on Saturday evening to open our new ball wall and honour our great clubman Luke Harney. Jarlath Burns GAA President joined us on the evening and spoke fantastically, even teaching the people of Kilmacow some history of the name.

The facilities we have are a massive testament to our members, syndicate members, hard working committee and the parish as a whole. The hours of planning and work that went into building the ball wall are incredible and the club is extremely grateful to the people who gave their time to make it a reality.

A massive thank you must also go out to everyone who helped in organising the opening on Saturday evening, the evening would not have been possible without the Trojan work done in the 9 days before the event. And to all those who gave a helping hand on the day, it was a true community effort, with so many people giving their time, energy and support to make the day so special. Special thank you to everyone who donated food on the day also, it went down a treat.

The mural painted in Luke’s honour was done Caoilfhionn Hanton & Jonathan from Giant Speckle. The piece is exceptional and is a testament to the talent of both artist.

Finally thank you to everyone who came on the day, it was fantastic to see such a large crowd.

What a day for our Kilmacow U10 boys! 🇳🇬🇳🇬

A brilliant experience for the lads as they took to the pitch in Netwatch Dr Cullen Park, Carlow for a curtain-raiser ahead of the Hurling for Cancer Charity Match.

The boys faced a talented Gort, Co. Galway team and put on a fantastic display of hurling, with some wonderful scores, plenty of hard work and, most importantly, great teamwork. 👏💪🏻

A huge thank you to Centra for the fantastic competition and for giving the boys the opportunity to play on such a special occasion. The prize included the match experience, transport to and from Carlow, Supermacs vouchers and a fantastic €1,000 cheque for the club. 🙌

Thanks also to all the parents who travelled and supported the boys, and of course to the coaches for all their time and effort.

A great day — and night! — was had by all. Memories the boys will have for a long time to come! 💚🤍

Our U12s had an early start on Saturday morning with a trip to Skeough for their Go Games Finals.

Taking on the hosts in the semi final, the early start wasn’t an issue as the lads ran out worthy winners in a tough contest 💪.

Taking on Ballinakill (Laois) in the final, the lads were slow out of the blocks and trailed by 7pts at half time. No such issues in the second half however, as they rose to the occasion to overturn the deficit and win the game by 1pt in dramatic fashion and take the spoils 🏆🥇🙌

Well done lads on two fantastic victories 👏🟢⚪️

Our u8s had a fantastic day out in Nowlan Park last week for the Go Games day. The lads got a tour of the dressing rooms and gym, finished off with playing 2 games against Graignamanagh & Thomastown.

It was a fantastic day out and experience for the lads. They even got to make the walk up the steps to collect their medals🟩⬜️
