Amazing job to everyone involved in our club showjumping competition tonight! 🎠 -> a special thanks to Laketour stables for helping us host something fresh before the reading week ahead.
Prizes were given to the top three from each section; mini, midi and maxi.

Last but not least is our Captain.I’m in my final year of college, I’ve been on the committee for 4 years. I’ve been riding for just over 21 years I love show jumping and cross country. I can’t just pick one of the many amazing memories but I have to say getting to teach kids to ride horses in the states is one of my favorites.

I’ve been a member of the equestrian team since first year, I’ve been riding for around 16 years now, mostly doing hunting and funrides. I have also done some show jumping and combined training. I’ve also worked as a therapeutic riding assistant for a number of years. My favourite memories include competing at Hunter trials and buying my first pony, as well as competing at TET and Varsities

My name is ciara and i am the PR representative for the equestrian club. I have been horse riding since I was 7 years old. I mostly do funrides and hunter trials but I also love to get involved in hunting and showjumping! I’ve been horse riding since I was 5. I grew up with horses as half my family have stables and plenty horses , I started horse riding with my cousins and my sister, starting with jumping and I then found the heart for jumping and cross country , aswell as that I helped around the riding schools and start competing in hunter trails and show jumping competitions and have many achievements from them through the years ✨ one of my favourite memories would be going up to the yard to my friends and taking out one of the horses and go off with them for the day to the lake ✨

I’m a second year general nursing student here in Setu. I’ve been horse riding the last 12/13 years in a couple of different stables. I joined the college horse riding team last year and took part in lessons and inter varsities(which was quite the experience let’s just say )
Next summer I am travelling to America on a J1 where I will be teaching children how to horse ride and also help with stable management. My favourite memory so far has been meeting many new people on the team.
