U13's Cup Semi Final Result
Kilmacow 7 - Tramore Afc 3

What a cracking game of football, and not for the faint hearted, was played this afternoon in The Complex. Both Teams gave it everything and it looked like we were bowing out of the Cup with 7 minutes to go but with two goals from Joe (Super Free Kick) and a great finish from AJ made it 3-3 and forced extra time. The lads upped their game and over the 20 mins of extra time saw us pull away and book out spot in The Final in Tramore next Saturday.

Well done to our youngest crew who took part in the U9’s Ferrybank Clover Tournament this morning. They played 3 great games, 2 wins and 1 loss and narrowly missing out on qualifying for the knockout stages. A Big Thank you to Kevin and Derek for looking after them today. 🔵🟡👏👏👏

Another fantastic ladies social Blitz was held today in the complex with teams from Clonmel Town FC and St Josephs AFC Waterford (Josephine’s) and of course our own Kilmacow Kickers 🩷

Each game was very competitive with great passages of play, some great goals, great saves and some good laughs.

Delighted to say that the Kickers Trophy for 2026 was won by our Kilmacow Blue Team with 3 wins and a draw which was against our Kilmacow Yellow team.

Thank you to our referees in the day Damien and Ronan, to all the ladies that served up a feast for all after and a big thank you to everyone that played and we hope ye all enjoyed the day.

2027’s Blitz already in the planning👍

Today saw our u16 girls take on the league champions, Ferrybank in the cup semi final on the hottest day of the year. We went out full of determination and it showed on the pitch. Ferrybank got the first goal but we equalised through Caoimhe Sweeny with an excellent goal. We had some brilliant passages of play resulting in another goal from Rachel Murphy and We went in 2-1 up at half time.

Ferrybank leveled the game in the second half from the penalty spot which brought the game to extra time. At this point our girls gave absolutely everything and we're ready to give more. An unfortunate deflection gave Ferrybank the win 3 minutes from time.

We could not have been prouder of the girls who left everything on the pitch and we can safely say theThe future is bright 👏🟡🔵

Back in the complex it’s a top of the table clash in the cup for the 16s are the boys welcome Cappoquin

On Sunday it’s two games at home for the girls as the 13s take on neighbours in the morning before it’s a local derby in cup for the 16s as are the opposition
