We’re delighted to launch Parkinson’s Active Pathway 💙
A 6-week exercise, education and support pilot programme for people living with Parkinson’s Disease in Kerry.
This new pilot has been developed by The Sequel Way to provide a safe, supportive and structured pathway into exercise, while also giving participants access to education, discussion, peer support and lived experience.
📍 The Sequel Way, Farranfore, Co. Kerry
🗓 Starting Saturday 30th May
⏰ 11:30am – 1:00pm
📅 6 consecutive Saturdays
Each session will include 60 minutes of structured exercise followed by 30 minutes of guided discussion, education and Q&A.
A key part of the programme will also include support from Fred O’Sullivan, who lives with Parkinson’s himself and is now part of The Sequel Way team, bringing an important lived-experience element to the pilot.
This programme is designed to be much more than a weekly exercise class. It is intended to help people build confidence, improve understanding, make more informed decisions around their health & wellbeing and begin engaging in safe, progressive and sustainable physical activity in a welcoming environment, with a view to supporting better long-term health outcomes.
