⚽️👏 Great session with our Girls Academy last night!

The girls worked on 2v0 and 2v1 situations, focusing on drawing in opponents, timing their passes, movement off the ball and making decisions under pressure. 💪

We finished with some 3v3 small-sided games, putting everything into practice! 🔥⚽️

👏 Brilliant effort and lots of learning from all the girls!

💙 Great to see the hard work paying off!

Massive well done to our 6 CSC girls who have made the Waterford Inter League squad, kicking off today with a 1-0 win over Kilkenny, with Tara O’Donnell scoring the winner! 👏

All 6 have been with us since June and have worked extremely hard. Unfortunately, their Waterford training now clashes with our Friday sessions, but we’re delighted to see them progress!

We’ve had great success seeing both boys and girls move on to Inter League squads, which is what it’s all about! 💪

With the girls moving on, we now have spaces available in our Friday academy sessions.

📩 Message our page or contact Craig on 083 070 8134 for details.

⚽🔥 Defending During the Chaos! 🔥⚽

A brilliant session working on pressure, cover and, most importantly, BRAVERY! 💪

4 teams of 2, each tasked with protecting their 4 cones!

The challenge was simple:
⚽ One player presses the opponent and looks to make the tackle and bonus if they can pass into a mini goal.
🛡️ The other provides cover and protects the cones.
💪 Both players encouraged to be brave, put their bodies on the line and block shots!

And the result? ABSOLUTE CHAOS! 😂🔥

The kids had an absolute ball, and that’s exactly what we want to see!

Plenty of tackles, blocks, teamwork, laughter and learning along the way.

One of the hardest things to develop in young players is the bravery to defend — the willingness to close someone down, commit to a tackle and put themselves in the way of a shot.

Tonight was all about creating an environment where they could develop that confidence without fear of making mistakes.

Learning through chaos, building confidence and having fun! ⚽👏

We have spaces available for some of our private academy groups please reach out on 0830708134 or on any of our socials
