⚽️ St John Bosco FC – Back to Basics
Tonight at St John Bosco FC, our managers came together for an important session focused on one thing, creating a positive environment for every child in our club. 🖤🤍
Working alongside the DDSL, we took the opportunity to get back to basics and remind ourselves of what youth football is really about.
⚽ The children come first.
🙌 Coaches are volunteers.
🤝 Referees are human.
❤️ Every child deserves to enjoy their football in a positive environment.
As managers, coaches, and volunteers, we have a huge influence on the experience our young players have every weekend. That means encouraging our players, supporting our coaches, and respecting referees, even when we don't agree with every decision.
Our focus should always be on helping the children learn, develop, have fun, and most importantly, love playing football.
The message on our sign says it perfectly:
“These are kids. This is a game. The coaches volunteer. The referees are human. This is not the World Cup!”
A big thank you to all our managers and coaches who give their time every week to make St. John Bosco FC a great place for our children to play. ⚽️
